Jack's Cocktail - Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We visited this beach and the bar for the first time on Sunday. The beach was full and it was impossible to find a chair in the first row since we had not booked and it was the weekend. So, we decided to book 2 front row chairs for Monday, and we spoke twice with the person in charge and we were assured that there were chairs available, and we informed him that we would arrive later since we had plans in the morning. Today (Monday) when we arrived at the beach, there were no chairs available in the front row, apart from the fact that we had made a reservation. On Sunday, we were also told that the chairs in the front row were all reserved and yet we saw some people arrive without reservation and occupy them. The impression I got is that they really are not trustworthy people!!! On all the beaches we booked we had no problem, only here, which is a real shame given the good atmosphere of the bar, the good quality of the drinks and food plus the friendliness of the girl who was serving the tables at the bar. In the end, they wanted us to stay in the remaining chairs, which we refused, given the fact that they were not...

The lady in the morning is brilliant. She’s very attentive and lovely. The food is fantastic but the lady in the afternoon/evening is very rude and her service was poor. She forgot to bring us drinks as she was too busy sunning herself. Food turned up and had to remind her about the drinks. I could understand if the place was heaving but there was three tables in (that’s including our table) She commented on my weight and said I need to eat more, which I thought very inappropriate (called me too skinny) if you’re going to go I would suggest morning. We came here two nights in a row, one evening just for drinks and the other for some late night food. We ate sushi and it was very good and freshly made which surprised us given the time of the day. The staff were young but very polite and helpful even though we were a bit shy with my friend. The atmosphere is very nice and we found ourselves admiring the decorations both nights.
