To Kyma — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

During our time in Stegna we visited To Kyma twice. The food was both time excellent, all of the fish, squid and starters. Also the vegatarian Moussaka was tasty. The pork was a bit overcooked, so I recommend to really stick to fish (or veg) in this fish Restaurant. After our first dinner To Kyma expanded to the beach, nearly doubling the size while service staff remained unchanged. This resulted in longer waiting time and we were not served at the very same time. The extraordinary organized and friendly waitress compensated her harsh-ish colleague. So this is the Top Rated taverna in Stegna? Even with half a dozen waiters the service was shambolic. Our friends (a couple) mains came and we waited, and waited, and……they finally finished eating, stacked their plates, but neither of our mains had turned up. After an hour had passed, I got up and spoke to the boss (Pavlos?) telling him not to bother now, we’d gone past being hungry. He was most apologetic, blaming the kitchen and offered us both another half litre of house wine on the house. This was very fair of him and good customer service. The best place to eat in Stegna, food is fantastic, all the service staf is nice, they are also very friendly, they know Italian, English, and even a little bit of Romanian! Place is nearby the Sea, you'll hear the sound of the wawes that are rumbling on the beach. You can even have a table directly on the sand if you enjoy it. Besides from the main food menu there are 2 or 3 combination with the "fish of the day" for 2 that are truly delicious! Calamary grilled for two it is so tasteful and the white wine is the best combination to it!
