Valantina's — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

First time eating here last night, and definitely will return. Friendly, attentive staff, with none of the 'creepiness' that sometimes happens with OVER-attentiveness.

The baked potato starter was a delight for an avowed spudophile like myself, and then I fell back on my traditional Greek Plate for mains. Always think it's a good way of experiencing several staple dishes in one go. Dolmades - near perfect Stifado - superb but disappointed to only have one small chunk of beef Gemista - absolutely delicious Moussaka - not the best I've had but def not the worst Gigantes - always boring and such a large portion. Halve these and triple the stifado! :o) Nikki enjoyed her pork medallions in mustard cream sauce immensely. And for pud, a fabulous portokalopita. Of all the restaurants we ate in during our weeks in Rhodes Valantina's proved to be the most popular within our group. The staff were friendly, professional, genuine, helpful, attentive. The food was beautifully presented, fresh and varied. The menu accommodated for people in our group with special dietary requirements also. The kids were happy with the fastest wifi of any establishment we found (Faster than our villa!), and were given free ice creams. Petros and Valantina deserve to have a popular business, they have worked hard to create a brilliant ambiance. We had dinner at Valentina’s twice during our stay, and both times were absolutely fantastic! You can feel that this restaurant is run with genuine love and passion by Valantina, Manuel, and their family. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed.

The food was delicious – fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Every course was a joy, combining authentic local ingredients with a refined touch. The service was friendly and personal – not just polite, but truly attentive.

What made it even more special is knowing that the same hospitality we experienced at their villa extends into the restaurant. Everything just felt right.
