Akrogiali — Restaurant in Municipality of Saronikos

I don't know where to start. I just left from this place and is one of the few times that I want to write about it quick. I feel I owe it to my self and others. You know when you are in a famous placr and you know you must avoid the so called "turistic" restaurants? Those that are just interested to take your money and never see you again because someone else is going to go anyway. The food was bad. To be specific everything was very oily with no taste. Also the sardines were not cleaned the fishes called "atherina" was awfull. We took a plate called saganaki with shrimps and guess what..... the shrimps were not clean and also they were totally raw. There was nothing fresh or tasty. Even the fruits at the end, that they offered us, had not taste. I have to say that it was very clean at the restaurant and the bathroom also and the staff was at least smilly and kind. It's sad... It's a restaurant in a very good spot with no quality. This kind of restaurants are bad for the country's reputation. We can be better...

We just had the most amazing lunch. The tomato and cucumber salad was so light and refreshing. Our son said it tasted like the veggies were just picked off the vine. The clams (mussels) were cooked perfectly and super fresh and tender. The sauce was so delicious I ended up sopping it all up with the bread. It was probably the best mussels we have ever had. We also had the spaghetti with shrimp which was great and finally the sea bass which was grilled and served deboned. It was paired with a lemon olive oil sauce that was a perfect pairing. I would highly recommend coming here. Not only is the food great but you have a beautiful view of the waterfront and the service was friendly and wonderful. We will def come back when we visit...

Unacceptable service and the whole personnel is very rude. The shop didn't accept POS even that in the our beforehand contact they accepted that we would come with credit card. Additionally they lied in order to handle this bad situation with telling us that the whole area doesn't accept POS this period and there is not their fault. But we visited an other shop next to it to eat ice cream afterwards and there wasn't any problem. Also in the order menu there were 2 more plates that never came. I will not suggest to anybody to come in this place and especially if you are a big group of people with more of 5 people. They have the room to accept many people but they cannot handle it, they are rude and just...
