I've had spaghetti paliafieno, and my girlfriend had spaghetti with seafood. The atmosphere was nice, and prices were good for the area. My pasta was amazing, however the problems start with the seafood spaghetti. Didn't look like the pictures and didn't have a loot of seafood in it, considering the 1 crab and 2 shrimps were whole (also being hard to eat) and taking the entire plate by themselves. Overall they were pretty bland. For desert we also had the chocolate souffle with ice cream (lava cake-ish), which was great. But the biggest issue was the service. At the time, we were alone in the restaurant, and the waiter was somehow never coming around. We had to wait around 30 minutes for food, again, and after it was brought and finished, nobody bothered to take the plates back. We had to move them around to make space for the desert plate, which we ate while staring the dead half-eaten whole shrimps and crabs in the eyes, which were still there even 15 minutes later, when we eventually left. They're probably still here...

Much like many other food places in Halkidiki the locals have no idea what good is let alone being able to cook it. This place prides itself in being Italian and that claim to fame is laughable at best. The alarm for me was their menu description for Carbonara, ham, egg, cream.

We had a Caesar’s salad drenched in some mayonnaise based sauce topped with ready bought cooked chicken on appalling green leaves. Then had some pizza. Their dough was not too bad, most likely ready bought. The tomato sauce did not have much flavour but the cheese was the worst part. I believe they use some cheap gouda on top of mozzarella. Regardless, you end up with an overly sweet and creamy pizza that’s very soggy and That is not very appetising.

If you’re looking for authentic pizza, far from the “Neapolitan trend” that every place seems to follow these days, this is the spot.

The crust is very thin, the cheese is generously loaded, and the flavor is just spot on. You can tell they care about getting it right, not just following trends.

Even the “small” pizza here is 40 cm, and the price is totally fair, similar to any decent pizzeria in your home town. Honestly, one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time.

Highly recommend if you’re after something classic, flavorful, and done with care.
