I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Gricousina, and it was an innovative and delightful experience. The unique ordering system, where you write your choices on a menu and pass it to the waiter, added an interesting touch to the meal.
One of the standout aspects of Gricousina is its reasonable prices, making it an accessible option for a variety of diners. But what truly impressed me was the outstanding quality of the food. The grilled Sardines were, without a doubt, the most amazing I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, they were a true highlight of the meal.
However, I did find that the pasta dishes were a bit on the oily side, which was a minor drawback compared to the overall experience.
The portions at Gricousina are substantial, ensuring you won't leave hungry. Read moreNO credit cards accepted!!! (this is a tourist spot and they should accept credit cards). They are using the same excuse as every other shop... "the machine is broken" The food: shrimp saganaki excellent, Dakos pretty good... Giant beans VERY dry... Roasted potato with "cheese and pork" had like 3 grams of cheese and 0.5 grams of pork on it. Greek Salad €8.5 Eur?! The Service: we were offered a table for 3 that had a very odd, high and uncomfortable bench. Requested the regular table with ordinary chairs next to it, but was told it's reserved. We stayed for an hour and a half and no one even walked into the restaurant. They didn't want to give us that table, probably because we were with the kid. The menu has very little to zero explanation about the dishes and no one even offered help with the order or menu. You can tell, the place wants to...
Read moreThis was the best restaurant we have visited in Neos, I absolutely recommend it! Firstly we got welcomed with an olive, sardela, bread and tsipuro. Once we had kleftiko made from pork meat which was sooo tender and delicious. We got treated to another bowl of vine because the previous day we got late and they didn't serve food atp. And perfect homemade greek halva with melon. The other day my boyfriend had Hünkar Beğendi which he loved and I had goat's roast which i never tried before. Great restaurant if you want to try something a bit different but still local. The prices are slightly higher then in other restaurants but the portions are huge! P.s arrive at 9pm at latest because they close the kitchen in 10. I cannot recommend enough...
