This place is terrible. We will never go back. Although we made a reservation in advance, when we arrived it turned out that they had not recorded our reservation at all and we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, even though there were free tables. Then we waited 20 minutes to order and finally after we ordered the food came after another 20 minutes. They don't offer complimentary water, bread and dessert like most typical taverns. The food was terrible, 2 octopus tentacles for 18€, the tirokafteri salad was terrible, they put old cucumbers on the greek salad, the bread arrives after you have eaten your meal and the bread itself was not good either, the only good thing was the grilled prawns. The service is under all kinds of criticism, the head waiter does not understand English well, he comes to take your order and never appears again, there is no one to take your empty plates, no one to change your ashtray, no one to ask you if everything is okay. It was my birthday, I will not go back again I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Also there’s no greek music, this is everything...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this place while trying to find a place to park on a Saturday night, they said they have parking if you are coming to their restaurant, so we agreed.
Checking out the reviews, it seems ok. It's across the street for the beach, with nice sunset views,
It was extremely busy, but we got lucky with a table. However, servers are poorly organized. First, we received my wife's meal, than apetizer, and finally my meal.
At one point one of the servers randomly dropped 3 small plates on our table, and didn't say a word. We didn't order it, table next to us did. So after 10-15 minutes, we finally got someone's attention, and they just moved those plates to their table. I noticed that severs are more focused on large groups, which left us, and other couples, waiting for everything longer.
Poor communication, poor organization, decent food. I bet it's better when its not a rush hour, so if you plan on visiting on a weekday, your experience might be...
Read moreAmazing food, but it ends there.
Unfortunately the service was not great. One of the entrees (tarama) was brought along with the main dish at the end instead of the beginning. We had to ask a couple of times before they brought it. It was hard to get the attention of the staff whenever we needed something. When we ordered more bread they only brought us 2 small slices?? Their POS was also supposedly not functioning so we had to pay cash. The waiter also just grabbed the check presenter and disappeared quickly without even checking the amount of money we put in and didn’t ask us if we needed change either. The food itself was delicious. Definitely would recommend the shrimp saganaki. They were truly unique. The fried zucchini were also 10/10. There is was a beautiful view towards the sunset and the jazz music they played created a very relaxing and romantic ambience. The place is definitely a must try for the food, but don’t expect much in...
