Okto Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

We discovered OKTO at the end of June/beginning of July, when the bar had just opened. We enjoyed it so much that we visited every single day for the rest of our vacation. The staff was amazingly friendly, polite and quick. Big up to Agnes, who was the best waitress ever! ♥️

The beach is sandy and the water, in most cases, crystal clear. There were different kinds of music playing, but definitely not the boring House beats you expect to hear on every corner.

When I look at the other reviews, I get surprised about the pricing. At the time of our visit the first row of sunbeds was charged at 30 euros, while the rest were at 20 euros. This included the food and beverages consumption. We recommend the Vegan Club Sandwich and the French fries, which were delicious. There's enough space between the umbrellas and you have two showers and a changing room at your disposal.

The only thing I didn't like was the mobile toilets. They happened to get a bit dirty and clogged during the day, although the staff would clean them every few hours.

Disappointed by the overly strict and unreasonable rules at this beach bar ( which by the way should be written somewhere as information) Instead of creating a relaxed, welcoming beach atmosphere, the management seems more focused on enforcing unnecessary regulations that take away from the experience. It felt more like a schoolyard than a place to unwind. I understand having guidelines, but the way they were enforced was rude and excessive. Staff kept quoting pointless rules that made no sense: you cannot leave the bar area for more than 10 mins....if you do so ,you'll lose your sunbeds.....even if you paid them already.... The beach is very nice, the umbrellas are placed a little thicker than they should be, but it is understandable. The food is average. The service is very good, even though the beach is full, they manage to quickly handle all orders. There are parking spaces, which is a big plus. The price for the first line on weekdays is 70 euros minimum consumption + 10 euros for a set of umbrellas and sun loungers. Each subsequent line has a 10 euros lower consumption price.
