I visited for a quick lunch and when I was about to pay, the owner apologized they aren't able to accept cards for the moment due to problems with the terminal. I didn't have enough cash on me and was about 5 EUR short, which the owner just waived off, saying it's no problem and that it's on the house. I returned the next day to pay the balance, but the kind gesture has left me with a great impression of the famous Cretan hospitality which is apparently still alive in some less touristic places :) Also, all the food I had was really tasty and well presented, and the staff was friendly despite running up and down on a very hot day during a heatwave. They also manage umbrellas and loungers on the adjacent beach.
