Found this on our trip to the beach. Payed €10 for two sun beds which was reasonable compared to others seen. Also good as they don't seem to charge after about 5 o'clock and its lovely to watch the sun go down. On our first visit we had an amazing server who couldn't do anything more for us and was very friendly but when we returned in the evening we just seemed to be ignored by the new server even though he was services ng those around us. I ended up having to go to the bar to order food. The guy seemed very passive-aggressive with me for no reason. We decide to give it another try the following night but again seemed to be ignored and met with the same passive aggressive tone when went back to order food.
The food was ok, the first time I had a club sandwich which was very good could've done with some mayo but was reasonably priced as well. The second night I had a pizza which tasted fine but the toppings were all piled in the middle and slid off when you tried to pick up a slice.
Overall it’s a very nice beach and the snack bar is good just guess its luck of the draw at...
Read moreMy teenage son was assaulted and robbed by the staff at this place, whilst the Elvis impersonator watched on with approval. The ordeal involved the staff stealing his bag and contents, and asking him if his parents have money. They chased him into the sea, where he remained for a long time; bear in mind it was dark, he'd been drinking, and was fully clothed. His injuries include multiple bruises and cuts to his head and body. They also restrained him with plastic cable ties. He ended up in hospital. TUI, our hotel and the hospital all advised us to re-engage with the island police. However, with only a few days left, it would have consumed our holiday. We were also concerned about repercussions as we were staying only 5 minutes from where the attack took place. On TripAdvisor, I note that another victim has written that a staff member asked aggressively, "Would you behave like this in England?" These are the same words he said to my son, as he was restrained with plastic cable ties and kicked...
Read moreMoraitika Beach is an absolute gem, especially for families with young children. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for little ones to splash around safely. Upon arrival, there's convenient free parking available at the bar if you plan to stay at the associated beach establishment. The cost for two sunbeds and an umbrella is only 10 euros, which is a great deal. The staff are incredibly polite and attentive. The beach server, in particular, not only speaks English but also Italian, and he's genuinely friendly. You can also enjoy a meal right on the beach, with an excellent quality-to-price ratio. I highly recommend Moraitika Beach for families with kids – it's a...
