Caldera Lounge Bar Restaurant Moraitika — Restaurant in Municipality of Southern Corfu

My partner and I had a selection of the starters (Tzatziki, calamari, saganaki) and they were all excellent. Usually I don't order saganaki (deep fired cheese) because it can be tasteless but this was far tastier than the others I've had. Again, the Tzatziki was full of flavour and made with high quality yoghurt - though it might have too much garlic for some, fine for me. The calamari was good, not just the rings as many restaurants will serve you. Some complementary bread and olive tapenade which was excellent.

The mains were good but not quite matching the starters, perhaps just because of our choices. Grilled sardines which was good and Veal Sofrido which was very tender.

The place has a nice modern atmosphere, not full of English breakfast and tacky signs like many others along the beaches. Some of the traditional Tavernas have a nicer feel in my opinion but then again this place can double up for beach cocktails after the meal.

This was our favorite place we went our whole time on Corfu! The staff was so sweet and attentive, the food was incredible, the cocktails were the best I’ve had and the atmosphere is cute and romantic. We went twice for dinner and once for drinks where we sat in the bean bag seats on the sand. I highly recommend if you’re with your significant other!! The mezes were fantastic! I got the sea bass one night and the caldera chicken the other. Both were fresh and well made, he got the mustard chicken and sea food pasta. All the drinks we got were amazing but the piña colada with a twist and mango daiquiri were by far our favorite. The wait staff were the best even while they were busy. Definitely make this a must eat...

We had a lovely dining experience at Caldera Restaurant. We started with a fresh and flavorful Greek salad and mussels that were absolutely delicious. For the main course, my mom enjoyed a perfectly cooked sea bass, while I had seafood pasta — both dishes were excellent and full of flavor. We finished our meal with creamy, refreshing ice cream that was the perfect ending.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a stunning beach view that makes the atmosphere even more special. The only small downside was that the service was a bit slow when it came to bringing out the main courses, but overall it was worth the wait. A wonderful spot to enjoy good food and a...
