Le Perroquet Tranquille — Restaurant in Municipality of Syros and Ermoupoli

When we first arrived, the place seemed lovely, but sadly, our experience at the bistro only went downhill from there. After we found our table, we waited around 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Eventually, we managed to place it after a long wait. We chose the specials of the day to avoid any delays. If only we knew what would happen next.

After waiting for about 90 minutes, we started wondering what was happening in the kitchen. Another hour passed, and the only thing we got served was two small portions of penne for kids. That's when we asked to speak with the manager. His attitude was shocking – he shouted and yelled at us.

After 20 more minutes, only two out of the six dishes we ordered arrived. Then, 30 minutes later, three more dishes came. Strangely, the five beetroot penne dishes we ordered came out in two separate batches, with the second batch having four mini mozzarella balls added.

Sadly, the last dish we ordered – mussels with potatoes – never came, even after waiting for three hours. As we were leaving, the staff had the nerve to accuse us of being rude and disrespectful. We just wanted to know where our food was. And to make matters worse, we were charged for the food we never received.

Overall, except for one waiter who was good, the service was terrible. The portions were very small. By far, one of the worst if not the worst dining experiences...

Lovely place. Quiet as the title and friendly as it could be. Try reserve a table before you go and tell them the details you need. The food is the original food we don't discuss taste. It's original. Try "Bavette" meat with roquefort, you will get the real feel that is hiding behind the meat. I trusted them with the wine, so ask the waiter for a wine glass or wine bottle, what is the correct combination with what you ordered. They will bring you extra fruits at the end. There aren't a lot to talk about, is an extremely unique and realxing place with taste and good music at night. From my opinion is better for Dinner. With a small and close company of yours to taste...

We went there for brunch. Everything was amazing. From the easy going atmosphere, the relaxing music, the smiling waitress that took care of every need of ours to the amazing food. The goat cheese salad was exceptional, same as the freshly baked croissants that got us hooked by their divine smell and the egg dishes that were all delicious.
