Rarely imagination meets reality, and when it does, you can sense it instantly. As we enter Valentine's world everything feels like there was a thought behind it, from the simple open set up, the beautifully essential mise en place that evokes the simple elements of the island, the kindness and competence of her small dedicated team, the open-onto-the-room kitchen laboratory, where Valentine experiments her poetry into plates. Every plate seems to be merging her life stories, the highest grounds she walked, dived (her and her family are spearfishers), sensed while traveling and living in places of the Mediterranean. Her stories come from far away but aim to merge in an uniccum place and this is something you can taste into every mouthful. The Iberian pig grew in the Peloponnese, the fish soup made with Blue crab fished by her, the fabulous rillettes, the sensual bottarga from Messolonghi, the island caramelized fruits meeting the vegetables from the garden, the incredible house made sorbets (and chantilly!) like a song you long to listen on repeat. The natural wines pairing selection, just perfect. Even the house wine. The people around us in the room feel like kindred spirits and at the end of the night we are all chatting with each other. Every night we have been it has turned into a spontaneous feast. Valentine, while I am about to leave tells me: 'I want to sculpt even more, reach the simplest core'. The two nights I have returned are still igniting me with joy and inspiration, and I look very forward to...
Read moreWe had the chance to dine in this little gem of the place thanks to our friend Errato in Errato jewelry. It was the delicious gourmet food and also lovely people, excellent wine and a great story we found in Boui Boui. They serve small dishes to share all Greek and local products with a creative touch. Our orders were Anchois (most delicious ever), Tomato salad, Mastello with spicy fig marmelade (excellent), shrimps, yummy potatoes and home made peach, almond, fig leaf sorbet. We had the opportunity to talk with Chef Valentine and listen her story of moving to Tinos, a woman down to earth with great courage and talent. Chapeau as French would say! This is a small, simple looking and warm place, be sure food is delicious, honest and people genuine. It was one of the best experiences during our two week Andros-Tinos holiday. It is just in the corner of Chora in a peaceful spot away from crowds and noise. Do not miss if you’re in Tinos. Thank you Valentine and Léana for the great evening. We wish you...

A lovely place for dinner for any reason, laid back but cool, stylish, refined. Highly recommend, one of my most favorite places to eat...
