We chose the junior suite on the ground floor. And we’re very pleased. From the balcony and plunge pool we had an amazing view of the sea. So beautiful we hesitated to leave.||The room is minimalist modern with a streamlined aesthetic. The ac was good, the blackout curtains worked well, the bathroom small but had good shower pressure and sparking clean. There was a safe and small closet along with low profile bed and a wonderful chair to sit in the room. However, you will want to spend most of your time outside.||Every morning a kind woman (the chef) brought a full breakfast on a trolley. The items changed everyday and were delicious. There was also a welcome liquor, fully stocked and complimentary mini bar with water, beer, sodas and chocolate. So many we couldn’t drink them over five days. ||There were exceptionally high gusting winds when we visited Tinos, but the balcony was well sheltered. The road outside is not busy and we heard no road noise either. ||Across the street was a great upscale restaurant with lovely ambiance and delicious food. We ate there three nights.||It’s only a ten minute walk into town and from the port with plenty of restaurant and shops. We went most days and nights.||We also rented a car for the day to explore the island and neighboring villages which is well worth doing. ||When you go to the reception, make sure to sample the complimentary Halaris chocolates, handmade in Tinos from a 100 year old shop. They are addicting! We asked where the shop was and bought some for friends. ||The only minor suggestion is to change the bean bag chairs to conventional chaise lounges. We are not tall people and they were small for us.||Other than that it was a wonderful stay which we highly...
Read moreAbsolutely loved Orion Suites!|We stayed here for 2 nights during a mini island hopping holiday.|The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and the view was outstanding, huge windows on to the beach and sea.|There was no noise from the road, only the sound of the sea, it was so peaceful and relaxing.|The bed was large and firm, very comfortable.|Great mini bar provisions and toiletries.|The bathroom was fantastic, huge walk in shower, fancy toilet (!), and again, extremely clean.|The highlight on top of all the above was the private plunge pool and large balcony. The water is cool but it was fine once you took the plunge, we loved it. Easy to get on to the beach as well although we loved the balcony so much we never made it in to the sea! The beach was more or less empty the whole time. Just note it does get some very large waves occasionally from the larger ferries. |The walk into town is very easy, about 10 mins, all flat The first 3 mins don't have a pavement but the road is not that busy and people are walking there all the time, just have a torch for evening. After 3 mins you reach the port area and then its all paved and pedestrianised path to town, v easy.|Breakfast was abundant, freshly cooked to order,, instead of buffet and excellent quality, the portions were huge.|It also has a gym room if you have the energy to use it!|The staff were also very helpful and friendly.|All in all, we had an amazing short stay and would...
Read moreOrion Tinos is honestly a gem. The view is unreal, you wake up and see nothing but the endless blue of the Aegean. The location is also super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the center, but still quiet and private, which we loved.
The design of the place? Out of this world. Every corner feels thoughtfully put together. Minimal, stylish, and just beautiful overall. It’s clear that a lot of love and care went into creating this space.
Everyone we met there was incredibly kind and polite. The people really made a difference – warm, helpful, and always with a smile.
A small but lovely surprise was the fridge being fully stocked with water, soft drinks, and some other refreshments when we arrived. It's the kind of detail that stays with you, not something you come across often.
Breakfast was served in the common area and felt really special. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care. It honestly made our mornings.
We left feeling rested, inspired, and already talking about coming back. Can’t...
