Sunday lunch for two. Great decor, plenty of space between tables, very clean. We were expecting Kalopsia to be good, from the reviews, but the food was excellent both in terms of quality and sophistication but also value.

The wood fire oven cooked dishes such as grilled vegetables had an added dimension from the fire; the tomato stood out for me. A thick slice of a local grown beauty with lots of flesh, I guess it had been marinated and then cooked -- or vice versa -- but it took tomato to a new level of taste for me.

The mains of mutton and tri tip beef were superb; beef melt in the mouth, the mutton wonderfully flavourful of itself and herbs. Starters of crisp anchovy and octopus with fava (what!) -- GOBSMACKINGLY GOOD!! The octo wins the day for its combo of wonderful flavour and texture...I am looking up recipes to try and get close to making your fava myself chef..super, superb cooking.

Dessert: OMG Crisp filo something with ice cream and another layer of creamy deliciousness. Light, full of flavour, beautiful textures.

Wines by the glass and bottle; great selection; helpful staff. Service overall is attentive and not fussy.

Chef Giorgos Stylianoudakis and staff are to be congratulated. Thank you. Highly, highly...

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. While the starters were good, the main course was a letdown.

We ordered lobster, which is supposedly charged by the kilo. The portion we received was clearly much smaller than a kilo but we were charged for 1kg. When we questioned the charge, they claimed they don’t own a scale and don’t weight the fish. How can a restaurant sell fish by the kilo without a scale? (Their fresh fish of the day is also sold by the kilo).

Additionally, the power went off 3-4 times during our meal, which we were told happens quite often.

We ended up being charged (for a whole kilo of lobster) without a receipt, and despite their promise to email it the next day, we still haven’t received it.

Additionally, in most Greek restaurants, it’s customary to offer a complimentary dessert or shot, especially after such inconveniences. However, they didn’t offer anything.

Overall the starters were good, but the experience was marred by poor customer service and overcharging. Tinos island has much better dining options. I would definitely not...

A brilliant addition to Tinos’s ever expanding culinary scene. Decorated with impeccable taste and benefitting from a great location (close to downtown but still far enough) this restaurant is well worth a visit. Elegant tastes, playing on local flavors with a twist accompanied by a very decent wine list (much better in selection and price ranges than most other wine lists in Tinos). Of particular note is the friendly and accommodating staff (including a great sommelier) who went out of their way to help us feel relaxed and ‘at home’. Floor managers seemed a bit more stressed and it would be a pity if that was allowed to disturb the tranquil atmosphere for the clients. In our case it didn’t - but only just. This notwithstanding, Kalopsia is...

We were at Kalopsia the 14th of May 2025. We discovered this restaurant on our way home after a long day of walk and decided to try it. The restaurant was not crowdy around 8 PM and we were allowed to choose the table we wanted. We faced directly the sea and the street was not noisy. We chose four plates : crispy artichokes with aïoli, beetroot salad with chestnuts and oranges, fish tartar with caper and lamb meatballs with yogourt sauce. We were advised to take a bottle of local white wine. The experience was just divine! All plates had their very special taste and went totally with the rest of the menu. We deeply recommend this restaurant!

Probably the best food we had on the island of Tinos, and we generally had very good food. Traditional with a twist. Familiar in a way, but then the herbs, dressing, combination took things a step further. The little welcome dish was olives and sundried tomatoes. We ordered Salatouri, Watermelon Salad, Cuttlefish Tagliatelle and the Lamb Shoulder. We ended our dinner with dessert, Pavlova and Caramelia Tart, and I was grateful my husband insisted. The staff was very helpful and polite, the sommelier really nailed it with his suggestions and we loved the airy, spacious dining area. Very fairly priced.
