Like salt — Restaurant in Municipality of Tinos

Rude staff with a terrible attitude - average food. There are 20 other places in Tinos worth your while instead of this place - forget about any decent welcome, attitude or service. After making a legitimate remark to the host (probably the owner) expressing our frustration after being told to wait and stand for 15+ mn, despite pre booking this place 10 days ahead of our arrival on the island and all the way from London, not only was our table nowhere near set or prepared for our booking, the staff blamed this lack of professionalism on a geriatric couple which, they said, refused to leave tue table which was supposedly ours. Unfortunately that’s not even logical as our booking was originally for 20:30 and we postposées it to 9pm, and no table was ready as expected upon our arrival. They sat us at 21:20, and no apologies or gesture provided to make it up, as is done in hospitality. Instead, the manager was argumentative and rude, went on to arguing with us, and even told his waiter who had prepared some complementary drinks for us to be handed to us after paying the bill, to not serve us the drinks (out of spite lol). Pathetic. Unfortunately for him we saw the scene with our own eyes when he didn’t realize we were...

Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to our expectations.First of all, only half of the tables have a sea view.The table we were seated at - although we had made a reservation - was not very pleasant since it was next to the entrance.With all the people coming in and out, I have to admit it was really annoying.They should never have placed a table at that exact spot in the first place if they respect customers.Nevertheless, since it was a Saturday night, we decided to stay because we wanted to try the dishes of this highly reviewed restaurant.Although, the staff were friendly, the restaurant was overbooked on the night we visited, and we were not satisfied with the service they provided us with. With regard to the food, we opted for the squid dish which was a real disappointment.We also ordered an artichoke pie which was nothing special since it smelled of egg. Then, the roasted sardines dish was ok. Last but not least, the dishes are surely overpriced, something that I wouldn not mind if I had tasted special dishes. Not a nice...

Amazing food! The onion pie was so crispy on the outside and soft on the Inside. The mussels and fries were marinated together in delicious harmony with a succulent tomato sauce with fresh herbs. And we had the zucchini flowers stuffed with feta just wow! And then the baked vegetables. I forgot to take all the pictures just the pie and a delicious Greek liquor called mistika. Take my word for it! The food here is 10/10

Edit - After reviewing our receipt and translating it we were charged for a bottle of water we said no too. So I keep the 5 stars to the chef cause I still loved the food but I really don't appreciate being ripped off just because I'm a tourist. We are all human here. We shouldn't be judged like this. Disgusting....
