The best bar to go to enjoy Kardamili’s spectacular sunsets. Aquarella serves a wide range of beers, wines, cocktails, plus light bar snacks and sweets. It’s tremendously well done inside, although it’s really its large and comfortable outside that sells it, with large, comfortable and shaded chairs and sofas nearer the building itself, and a row of smaller tables right next to the sea. Prices are a little above the norm for Kardamili, but it’s difficult to begrudge that when the view is so amazing and ambience so relaxed. Can get busy around sunset, particularly the row of tables above the sea.

I had Arizona Ice Tea and a croque madam, it absolutely loved the taste of my croque. However, it took a while for the food to arrive even though the outside terrace was not very busy (about 50% was occupied). When my food finally came they delivered it to the wrong table. The gentleman who received my plate looked at it in a strange way and even managed to touch the sandwich before sending it back. The waitress then brought the plate back inside before bringing it to me a minute later. Besides all that there was one pretty noisy fan outside which sounded more like a power generator.

I made a point to order decaffeinated coffee, which was very strong and turned out to be caffeinated which wrecked my day. A good place for early morning, sunset but the food is nothing to write home about and it's not cheap.

we both ordered 'yogurt with honey and walnuts'. they brought us a yogurt with honey, walnuts and a mountain of fruits - which i cant eat and didnt ask for. I told themnwe didnt ask for fruits, i can not eat fruit and that i had to put them on the side, and asked for some more yogurt. They first tried to blame us for the wrong order, then they finally brought me extra yogurt but 'they had to charge it for an extra euro'. Of course we considered this poor service and I did not accept it so I refused to hav it..so we left disappointed.We find unacceptable to make costumers feel uncomfortable for their own mistakes and charge extra for them! Aquarella is situated in a very beautiful spot in Kardamyli. It has a large garden / veranda directly overlooking the sea and the sunset.

The ambience is very good, the music is an eclectic mix of smooth jazz and rock. The inside area is very tastefully decorated and inviting even though the veranda tends to grab all the attention.

Service is OK, sometimes a bit slow but that's OK as the place is really popular. It serves both sweets and hearty snacks. Especially the soufflé chocolate is wow.

Particularly good choice for an early evening visit but meme sure you are there relatively early (eg 1900 1930) in the summer to get a good table and...

The place is really nice with an amazing view on the sea! However we did not have the luck to try anything because the service is one of the worst I had in my life! We were waiting about 20 minutes to see a waiter and after we called to order we got the response "I will be there in a moment"! 15 minutes passed and the waitress although went to other tables did not came to ours! She even took an order from another couple that arrived 15 minutes after us and served them! She proceed to other tables but tottaly neglected ours. Too bad because the place looked promising.
