Hades Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of West Mani

I can highly recommend Hades traditional English breakfast. Julia and Bill cure their own bacon and make their own sausages. I don’t eat meat but my husband says the bacon is perfect. He had the bacon and egg breakfast bap. I was very well catered for with choice of egg(poached or fried), baked beans, mushrooms, tomato and toast. Hash browns also available. Definitely hit the mark and will definitely be going back for more. We also had a take out serving of Julia’s Bakewell cake. Definitely cake heaven and I wish I had ordered 2 portions instead of one. Julia is an excellent baker. If you are too full after eating be sure to take a slice of cake home with you. We love this place in the winter. A constant glowing fireplace, a kind word, great classical music this morning And of course their breakfast. All the sausages hand made and cured as is the bacon. Add a crumpet and all is well with the world. Always a welcome and a cheery word and great service. Just had 2 weeks in Ag Nik for family wedding/holiday... Hades bar is the best bar in the village. Brilliant hosts & staff everyone so friendly...we met some fantastic people, Bill & George the owners, the bar staff and Pete a regular, they put a great spread on for around 40 of us day before we returned. We had some great laughs with these guys we will definitely be going back to Ag Nik next spring time missing...
