Our first Greek lunch, what a joy. No menu, just a verbal description recited by an English speaking lady. Just such fresh food, great flavours, nice presentation, all very simple but perfect. Price wise really good value. It may be off the main road but well worth seeking out ( just across the street from the kiosk in the middle of the village. 2025 Kiki's remains a firm favourite, excellent traditional greek dishes prepared in a time honoured fashion. Not fancy just wholesome, the Stifado is fab as is the lemon chicken. If rabbit is on the menu indulge yourself. For vegetarians there are some suitable dishes. My favorite place in kardamili. They offer traditional dishes which are clearly prepared with care. Even more, there is a most welcoming hostess which speaks perfect Italian and English. There is no menu card, but the hostess takes her time to explain the options. There are always nice vegetarian options. The restaurant may not have the nicest view on the sea, but there is a fine view on the mountains and the mani towers. Also the price is very affordable, especially for what you get. The really welcoming atmosphere, the affordable price and good food keeps me returning here next holiday...

This is just a lovely experience, well worth a visit if you just want some top quality, traditional, home-style food. There's no menu – Kiki just comes and tells you what's on offer that day, and waits for your immediate answer. Nothing like a bit of pressure to focus the mind! The beef stifado is extraordinary – can see why it gets so many mentions in reviews.
