Chesters on the Beach — Restaurant in Municipality of Western Samos

Today in Chesters, where we've spent almost every day of our Samos holiday for three years, I was met with a very rude and disrespectful situation, and I was even threatened by the owner of the restaurant, who appeared to be a chef. I've never encountered a worse business owner in my life. The fact that he spoke to a woman/mother in such a way, without any knowledge of the situation, made me realize how inhumane he is. He even reacted so rudely that I apologized. The restaurant is completely unbaby-friendly. There is no baby changing area. The toilet area is quite narrow and completely unsuitable for changing a baby's diaper. There isn't even a high chair for a baby. Because I changed my baby's diaper on the table with putting a blanket and towel under my baby, and I was careful not to let anyone see it, he came in from the kitchen and blocked my way to the toilet, and when he could have just warned me about it, he only threatened me with rude and disrespectful language.Even the waiter, unable to remain indifferent to this behavior, came and apologized to us. His rudeness and disrespect are completely unacceptable. Being human doesn't mean behaving this way. Please consider...

This restaurant and beach was at few minutes walking from our hotel (Aphrodite).

We found the beach very pleasant… starting from the sunbed mattresses and from the atmosphere in general.

The price for two sunbeds and umbrella for the day is 7€ but if you have dinner here you receive a voucher for free sunbeds the next day.

The food is very good! Especially if you are team meet and BBQ… we had fantastic black angus steak and some even more tasty spare ribs… also other things we tried were really good. There are also some veggie and fish alternatives on the menu but we didn’t try.

All the staff is very friendly and fast, but I really want to especially thank Julius and Jo which were fantastic… I had my birthday celebration there and they really added the extra bit that made it very nice.

Hope to come back to Samos one day to eat again those...

The place is nice, but the service is a disaster. We visited twice, and both times we were dissapointed. The first time, the prices on the website did not match the prices given by the staff (they said the website didn´t been updated). The second time, we waited over one hour for our drinks!!! After 30 minutes we asked, and they told us "it´s coming". After 45 min we went to the bar and saw them chatting and laughing - not exactly busy. When we asked again about our drinks they said it will be "around" 5 more minutes. Clearly they had forgotten and didn´t want to admit it.

When we told them this wasn´t acceptable, instead of apologizing they started arguing with us. Overall, we had a bad experience with...
