During our holiday in Samos, we walked by Pigadi Grill and decided to go out for dinner at the place. It looks absolutely gorgeous from the outside with the colourful decor, however, don’t judge this book by its cover.
When we visited, there were only a couple of tables occupied, yet it took the waiter 20 minutes to ask if we would like something to drink. We ordered drinks and our food. We already knew what we wanted since it took so long in the first place.
The food was not bad, hence the two stars instead of one. However, when we were finished, nobody came to our table to ask how it was or if would’ve liked a dessert or a drink before leaving. After waiting at least 25 minutes with empty plates in front of us, it was time to go home.

Read moreThe place looked nice, and thats why 2 stars and not 1 star. We ordered a Greek salad, one saganaki and one plate with gyros. It took a long time to bring the food, although there were just two more tables. The salad was ok (more Feta would be ideal) but the saganaki was hard and not tasty and the gyros was cold and had a lot of fat. The house wine was of low quality. The waiter was not very attentive but gentle and when I asked the bill he brought a paper written down the summary. I asked him for an official receipt where he said "it might take a while because the boss is not around". He saw our discomfort and brought it to us in 2 minutes. We left and will not go there any time soon. As a Greek guy, I was disappointed by the way they present the Greek cuisine. There are other places nearby to visit...
Read moreOne of the few places I wouldn’t recommend here. Drinks are good and fast but food is a mess. The kitchen is tiny so there are long waiting hours when there are more than 3 tables occupied. They had nice live music from two musicians and the staff was friendly, thats all. Don‘t go in large groups. Don’t order fried stuff, as the coating is mealy and soaked in frying fat. The grilled...
