HOTEL MARY — Hotel in Municipality of Western Samos

Just returned from a stay at the apartments as part if a family group of six. We had an excellent time. We rented two apartments for a week and were not disappointed. Filoman and his father were fabulous hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Very helpful with advice on taxis, restaurants and places to visit. The apartments are comfortable and the pool area is clean. The beach is close by and the village itself has a number of great eating places. There is a well stocked supermarket, Proton, nearby. We also hired a car and went for a drive around the island visiting the temple of Hera and several small villages and lovely beaches. Wenn Sie gerne einen entspannten Urlaub erleben möchten, empfehlen wir Ihnen das Hotel Mary in Votsalakia. Das Hotel wird unabhängig von Mary, Niko und Filimon geführt. ||Wir hatten fantastische 14 Tage bei Ihnen an denen wir aber auch nichts vermisst haben. ||Das Hotel Mary, an einer Nebenstraße gelegen und obwohl nur ca. 150 Meter von der Hauptstraße entfernt, bietet ruhigen Schlaf und eine sehr saubere Unterkunft. ||Der Pool ist für die kleine Erfrischung ausreichend und gut gepflegt sowie die nette Poolbar dazu, an der man allabendlich noch seinen Absacker nehmen kann, oder auch mehr. ||Wenn dann die Stimmung stimmt, wird auch schnell einmal ein Kurzlehrgang in griechischer Folklore angeboten.||Es wurde immer wieder hinterfragt ob alles in Ordnung sei und jeder geäußerte Wunsch wurde quasi umgehend erfüllt, wo gibt es das schon. ||Den Flug nach Samos und zurück hatten wir uns selbst organisiert, den Mietwagen für die Zeit (stand am Flughafen bereit) hat uns Filimon besorgt. ||Den Einkauf für die täglichen Dinge erledigt man quasi um die Ecke und wenn man gute griechische Küche genießen möchte bekommt man die besten Tipps bei den Wirtsleuten. Natürlich gehören auch Empfehlungen von netten Badebuchten dazu.||Am Rande erwähnt; Als unser Mietwagen bei der Abreise nach wenigen hundert Metern den Geist aufgab, genügte ein Telefonanruf bei Filimon und die Autovermietung tauchte nach 10 Minuten mit einem Ersatzwagen auf. Mehr Service geht nicht.||Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder. ||||P.S.: Wer hier nicht klar kommt hat wohl etwas...

Just super to come back again, in June this summer and spend two weeks under the sun of Samos. Staying at Mary's (just 2 minutes walking from the sea), feeling like home. Everything clean and comfortable as usually of course (very spacious studios!!!). Filimon and Maria know the way to make us feeling as members of their family. Evenings at the poolbar, starting with soft drinks and after a couple of vodkas, Filimon's handmade rakomelo is the perfect way to finish the day....
