Ottimo Italian kitchen and bar ΣΚΙΑΘΟΣ — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

I am so happy we tried this Skiathos hidden gem! We have been here for a week, and have already gone twice. The food is fresh, delicious, and served by lovely staff with wonderful attitudes. It feels like a local Grecian version of a fun Italian bistro. Best pizza on the island by far, I could eat it everyday. The first time we went was on a romantic date after watching the sunset at a nearby beach, and I immediately fell in love with the whole vibe. Clean, colourful, with the most amazing attentive service, and a fabulous house rosé too. It was exactly what we wanted. I was also very impressed with the decor and the attention to detail (little bistro chair shaped hooks in the bathroom, pasta pictures all over the walls). Thankfully it's also nice and cool, and I always prefer restaurants that are bright and open. The second time we went, we brought our (very energetic) three-year old after a long beach day, and he loved it as much as we did (and ate tons of ragout). The kitchen were also very sweet and accommodating to his picky toddler tastes. I will definitely be going regularly for the rest of the trip (and years to come). My favourites so far (besides the pizza) are the arancini, the chicken caesar salad, and the ragout. The lemon dessert is also a must have. And my husband swears by the soy sage chicken dish. I can't wait to try more. I've already recommended it to all my friends, so make sure you book a table if you don't want to risk...

Ένα μικρό κομμάτι Ιταλίας στην πανέμορφη Σκιάθο... Από τη στιγμή που περνάς το κατώφλι του εστιατορίου η διακόσμηση σε κερδίζει αμέσως: εκλεπτυσμένη, αυθεντική, με μεσογειακή φινέτσα και φροντίδα στη λεπτομέρεια. Δεν είναι ένα απλό εστιατόριο – είναι μια εμπειρία.

Τα πιάτα εξαιρετικά. Γνήσιες ιταλικές συνταγές, φτιαγμένες με απόλυτο σεβασμό στην παράδοση και την πρώτη ύλη. Κάθε μπουκιά αποκαλύπτει φρεσκάδα, ποιότητα και γευστική ισορροπία που δύσκολα συναντάς. Από τα θαλασσινά,τα ζυμαρικά μέχρι τα antipasti και τα επιδόρπια, όλα αποπνέουν μεράκι και αυθεντικότητα. Η λίστα κρασιών είναι επιμελημένη με προσοχή,που αναδεικνύουν μοναδικά κάθε πιάτο. Αν δεν ξέρετε τι να επιλέξετε, μην διστάσετε να ρωτήσετε – η καθοδήγηση είναι ευγενική, διακριτική και άκρως επαγγελματική. Και εκεί που νομίζεις πως δεν μπορεί να γίνει καλύτερο, γνωρίζεις τον ιδιοκτήτη: ένας άνθρωπος που δεν «τρέχει» απλώς μια επιχείρηση, αλλά ζει και αναπνέει για αυτήν. Με μια σπάνια ευγένεια, μια αληθινή αγάπη για αυτό που προσφέρει και έναν βαθύ σεβασμό προς τον πελάτη, κάνει τη διαφορά. Delicious food, very generous portion, friendly service, chic decor. We were so happy with our first visit that we returned a couple of times to try out different dishes. We have tried and highly recommend the dishes below and Red house wine: Garlic mozarrela bread - Amazing starter! Scrimp linguine - Creamy with big fresh scrimp Beef tagliatalle - Tender beef that literally melts in your mouth Various pizza - Thin crust, cheesy, perfect for all the cheese lover out there Calzone nutella - Rich decadent dessert. Highly recommend to come here during the day just for this as you won't be able to finish it after main courses, trust us,...
