My hubby and I stayed for 2 weeks from 24/6/24 - 8/7/24. On arrival we were greeted by Teo at the bar and offered a complimentary drink which was very much appreciated. Teo showed us to our room, Room 100. We expected a normal basic Greek room but far from it, our room was the best we’ve ever had in Skiathos, it was very spacious with a king size bed, modern kitchen area with everything we needed and a large modern bathroom, wardrobe with lots a coat hangers (I took extra just in case and left them there), dressing table with a hair dryer and a big mirror, plenty of plug points, free air con which was definitely needed as it was very very hot and a free safe. Our room was cleaned every day and sheets and towels changed very 4 days. Every morning whilst we were having our breakfast outside we had a chat with the 2 cleaners, lovely and friendly, they work so hard.||The pool area was clean and we never had a problem getting a sunbed, though some of the brollys need repairing or replacing. The pool was very inviting, we used the pool a few times, very relaxing. We visited nearby beaches - Koukounaries, Mandraki and Elias, all within walking distance from Sunset. We also visited Troulos beach which is a short bus ride.||Lots of very nice restaurants in and around Koukounaries, our favourite was Ilias Orchard next door, we ate there 3 times and will definitely be going again. We love Skiathos Town so went into town a few times on the bus €3 each, each way. We love the buzz of the town but like the peace of Koukounaries.||We’ve been to Skiathos 8 times and Sunset is the best we have stayed in, Teo and his partner Despina were great hosts and very welcoming.||We had a fantastic time in Skiathos and didn’t want to come home, we absolutely love Skiathos. Our accommodation was fantastic and 2 days after returning home we have booked to go again for 2 weeks next year, fingers crossed we can have the same room. Having spoken to Teo unfortunately we can’t request a particular room as Jet2 allocate the rooms.||Sunset is the best accommodation in Skiathos,...
Read moreI have recently returned from a 9 day stay with Sunset studios. I was on holiday with my husband, 18 year old daughter and in-laws. We have all had the most wonderful time. I can highly recommend this place. Teo and Despina (sorry if I have not spelled your names correctly!) run the bar and restaurant and are absolutely amazing!! When we arrived, they provided the warmest and friendliest welcome. They are lovely people, so friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Teo makes a fine cocktail and Despina makes the best club sandwiches ever :). We stayed in a lovely 2 bedroom apartment. The bedrooms were very spacious. We had a large terrace. The apartment was lovely, modern and absolutely spotless. They are cleaned daily. The ladies work very hard and keep everywhere so clean and tidy. My mother in law was not so good for a few of the days and the staff that live on the complex were so caring. They even picked something up from Skiathos pharmacy for her as they were visiting the town. They also baked her a cake. So kind and thoughtful. The pool area is also kept beautifully clean and we could always get a sunbed. There was no silly reserving of beds with towels. The complex is small, friendly and has a really relaxed and welcoming vibe. Beautiful location with stunning beaches and lovely restaurants. Elias beach is particularly lovely and you can casually stroll to the beach through the sheltered pine forest from the Sunset studios. Teo is a font of knowledge on the area and can always help. There is a great bus service that spans the island. Buses are approximately every 10 minutes and they are air conditioned which is great! Catching the bus from koukounaries you are always guaranteed a seat.|All in all we had the most fabulous holiday and were so sad to leave. Amazing and attentive staff, thank you for a lovely stay. We would highly...
