A lovely family run tavern with a gorgeous sea view. My family and I have visited this tavern a lot during our stay and what to say except it was always perfect?

We were appealed by the view but we continued to come back mainly because of the food. We tried lots of their dishes (but I forgot to take pictures because the food was so tempting…): the moussaka, tzatziki, salon with melon & prosciutto, greek salad, tomato salad, cheese pie, grandmother’s meat balls, chicken souvlaki, grilled squid, fried squid, aubergine dip, garlic dip, beef with tomato sauce, pork with mustard sauce, stuffed zucchini flowers, and I may be missing some. Every single one of these dishes are amazingly delicious. And for a very affordable price, hence why we kept on coming back.

The staff was very thoughtful, polite and professional. Whilst heading to the ladies, you’ll pass by the kitchen where you can spot all the fresh ingredients they use and prepare.

Would highly recommend this place for a chill and relaxing...

Looks pretty from the outside, with a nice view but I would not recommend. Friendly on arrival. They had specials, that weren't so special at all! I chose the calamari from the specials menu. My husband tried to order a Pork Souvlaki, but the waiter turned his nose up. He said why? Have the Moussaka (which was a special). My husband said no, the weather is too hot for that. The waiter then pointed to meatballs (also a special). No, my husband said. I'll have the Souvlaki. Try a special, the waiter said. The meatballs are delicious! Oh ok, said my husband. I will try them. You must also try the stuffed courgette. They were obviously trying to get rid of the 'special' menu they had prepared. The calamari was bland and greasy. The stuffed courgette were stodgy balls. The meatballs were extremely greasy. The portions were plentiful but not nice at all. Service very slow. Try...

If you visit this place, we would any time recommend the delicious rabbit in lemon sauce with potatoes. Really tender Meat and flavorful sauce.

We also ordered lamb chops, which were good but sadly served with French fries…. Taken into account it’s a taverna with a beautiful location and nice dishes, they would elevate the dish and impression of the place, by replacing the fries in our opinion with any other side dish.

Service was attentive and nice. But we withdraw a star as they did not first ask us if we wanted Bread and a little dish they will charge for, unless it is declined by serving.

Have been to other places where they ask if we would like this before serving it or they give this one without any fee. I definitely find those ways more polite.

Nice they serve a little dessert and ouzo...

Sweet staff, working really hard. You can tell they're trying their best. Gave us a nice appetizer and shot when we got there. Friendly service that at times is struggling with the amount of patrons. It's a popular restaurant considering how busy it was. Food is for the international tourists though, very much like most places on Skopelos. Seasoning, flavors and ingredients are just not up there. If you've traveled through Greece, you'll likely be disappointed. If this is your first experience you will enjoy it I believe. I'd give it a recommendation depending on what you're seeking. Service was friendly and as it's frequented by many Brits you won't have as much second-hand smoke as many of the Taverna's frequented by the locals. To us that's equally as important to enjoy the meal.

We were disappointed and felt a bit scammed even. The chicken from souvlaki was dry, it didn’t come with any tzatziki or pita. But our disappointment came mainly from the moussaka, it was served to us cold and as small a part of a moussaka from a baking pan but it was served to other guests in single ceramic dishes, twice as big as ours. A couple tried to sit by the table next to us but the server told them to wait as if he wanted to hold the 4 seat table for more people than just 2. A line of next couples was formed, and only after maybe 15/20min of them waiting the server gave up and let them sit. From the nice things they brought an appetizer of peppers and anchovies and the location is great. Still, worst experience we had in Skopelos. More of a tourist trap, I’d say.
