Mercurius Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Skopelos Municipality

I have to say, we spent a perfect last evening on Skopelos at this bar. The drinks, the music, the service, the view... Everything was simply perfect. We sat down in front of an amazing view, not just moderate view, of the port in twilight as the sun faded. After ordering a mix of freshly pressed juice and an "Ouzo Mojito Medusa" we received what was one of the best cocktails I have had in a long time. You could taste the high quality ingredients and clearly it was made by someone with care and appreciation for their craft. The juice was also clearly fresh and very good. The service was very friendly too. The view is great from the lower balcony style seating area and the candle light that lit up the whole bar did wonders for the atmosphere and feel there. Greatly recommended for couples and people with a liking to romantic and cozy places. The music was, in my opinion from another world. I have never had music in a bar that was so perfectly fit for the ambience of the place and we were simply sitting there, sipping our drinks and enjoying the view and music, we didn't even talk much, just enjoyed the moment. Thank you for this great bar and perfect evening.

PS: The prices might seem high in comparison, but after seeing how good the drinks were and comparing to the prices of alcoholic drinks on the island I find them more than fair. Also we were served nuts and fresh carrots as a snack, completely free of charge! I would pay the prices here anytime over the standard and soulless...

Big selection of cocktails. They cost 10.5, they are strong. Nice music, vibe and view! BUT, at the table next to us there were 2 teen girls. We witnessed the manager (named Stella) asking them to leave! I didn't want to believe it so I asked them and they said (not happy) that it's exactly what happened. A few seconds later, the manager called the new customers to come, in order to force the girls to leave even sooner. After the girls left, I asked the manager to check her side of the story. She told me that the girls were sitting there without reordering and people were waiting. She also said that girls were there for 4 hours and used a table for many people, the table that she gave to them. Of course, it's a max 4 person table and the girls arrived a few minutes before us, as their drinks were almost full when we arrived. She tried to defend herself that she does that because she wants to be fair and other arguments not making any sense. Why you are closed right now on Sunday when everybody it is out in town to drink or eat something? I will respond to the owner: I came specially from Skiathos, for a day, and following what I saw on the internet, your location was among my choices. Just coming from Skiathos and finding the bar closed, while it should have been open, what did you expect them to send you, hugs and kisses? If you had a personnel problem, you could have replaced the missing personnel, by yourself, in order to offer your clients excellent services. You say this is not a reason for only one star? I would like to give you a second star for the diversity of the products you offer, another star for their quality, the next star for the quality of the services, another star for cleanliness, etc. How could I have given these stars if you were closed? What else should I have given you a rating for? One star is so much as long as you offered me zero services during the schedule you displayed as open even though it was closed.
