I enjoy eating out quite regularly and don’t like too much of one style of preparation. Taverna food all tastes pretty much the same. Ta Kymata is an exception and I encourage you to try them. Firstly; the service is genteel. Then the food; We had the shrimps with risotto , the sautéed mushrooms, mussels and the chicken breast in a tomato reduction. It was all really good ! The food was uncomplicated and pure. Even the chicken breast , which you’re guaranteed to get dry, was tender and juicy. The mushroom dish was not over fried and oily.

During my vacation in Skopelos, I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant several times—and each visit was better than the last. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and genuine hospitality of the staff.

The food was consistently excellent. Every dish I tried was full of flavor, made with fresh, local ingredients.

Service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. They were happy to offer recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed every meal.

We had a dinner party for about 50 guests. The food was amazing. Appetizers were all great some of which were authentic local cuisine; the grilled squid and octopus were great. The greek salad was so fresh and full of flavour. the main course was very large groupers grilled, garnished with fresh parsley, lemon juice and their own olive oil. It was absolutely delicious. The guests were so full, could not consume the fresh fruit and baklava served for dessert. Their music was so infectious, everybody was dancing and enjoying themselves. The service was great. We went back as well as some of the guests from that evening.
