Molos Restaurant Limenaria Thassos — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

Food okay, nothing special or to make you crave for; it was a bit overpriced, though, comparing with what others offer in terms of taste and plating - maybe a 10% to 20% too much? I would have overlooked this if it was not for the service; this was terrible. The tavern was not crowded, 3 tables about to leave and 2 new ones, out of over 20. Big unexplained pauses between tendings, with the waiters enjoying their chitchat; 4 to 5 of them attended our table - it looked like they did not decide who is to service us. After 15 minutes of waiting, our order was yet to be taken. We asked for an ashtray and then after 15 minutes we needed to hail another waiter to bring us one; 20 minutes later another waiter came with the initial asked ashtray. After the food was served, nobody ever attended us. Waiting to check out for long time, we hailed again one of the waiter; he was polite and asked if the food was okay, then he said he will bring the check, however there will be a dessert 'on the house' for us. We were fed up, just needed to retire as it was late, but after 20 minute of watching the assistants having their happy chat, our bill was yet to be issued, let alone the promised dessert 'on then house'. When finaly the bill came, it was left on the table without a word; I needed to walk toward their group to hand over the money, as no one bothered to check on us whether we needed change or wanted to pay by card. That was the last bitter bit added to our frustration. Other taverns with same food and far more better service you can find plenty...

I cannot recommend this place. The location is good but the owner is very mad. She analyzes where you are going to eat and instructs her workers not to be welcoming towards you because we might study her restaurant and somehow sell their secrets to the other restaurants nearby. We only went there once because we wanted to try their food and the reviews seemed good but the service was inhospitable because she already had her ideas in her mind.

We attempted a second visit but nobody came to us to welcome us in and we heard her yelling at her workers in her language not to let us in (pointing towards us) even though there were tables available. The food was good, and if you go here as a first time you might not encounter this cold approach, but considering how many options there are, I would advise against visiting such an owner.

Right before preparing to leave from our hotel, she threw a very nasty stare at us like we were below her. Sorry ma'am, but these things cannot go unnoticed / unannounced.

Another restaurant on our list on our tour on the island . What can i say first ?! : they accompanied at the table , one waiter came right after 2 minutes to take the order . We were not quite ready so we asked for 1-2 minutes extra . Came back took the order ( 2 soups , pasta with shrimp and shrimp with tomato sauce and feta cheese ) They recommend shrimp with tomato sausage and feta ( it’s nothing special ) The food came out and they put everything on the table , i mean the whole order ! Where did u learn to do that !!! The food is getting cold while i’m still eating the soup !!! Fish soup and chicken soup : barely anything inside , one had a lot of onion inside , the other had almost no meat .
