Pachis Beach Bar — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

Terrible service - beyond any words. We went there due to the reviews and recommendations. Even though the location is good and the water is nice, the beach is managed terribly. The is a request for 50 euros in consummation, while in the same line within the hotel the request is 30 euros. What annoyed us so much was the attitude of the restaurant manager. In order not to make a mess on the beach, we decided to eat in the bar and asked for food recommendations. The manager emphasized that the sea food is amazing and we naturally ordered that. We were waiting for more than 50 minutes and afterwards we started complaining about the needed time to prepare the food. The manager did not nothing to provide some damage control and instead of that, started arguing with us and even threatening that we do not want to mess with him and even requested us to pay, even though there was no food on the table. We waited for 20 more minutes and when the food arrived it was disappointing - it was obvious that it is prepared in less than 10 minutes. First they brought only one order then the second one which escalated the situation - Frutti di Mare pasta as one of the most expensive meals on the menu, consisting only of spaghetti and TWO squids. We attempted to leave when the manager entered into a semi-psychical and verbal argument with us. Not worth for the money, definitely! All other beaches - including La Scala which is definitely the most beautiful one, have lower prices and greater services.

PS The response from the owner just proves and confirms our statements about their rude, disrespectful, arrogant and aggressive behavior. Also the threats we received. No need to say anything further. Of course that we will react due to the delay. Please tell what would have happened if you noticed as you are threatening? Will you physically attack us or what? This perfectly sums up our experience and how you treat (or threat)...

Fabulous beach bar with sunbeds and great selection of food and drinks. Located on the best spot on Pachis beach among pine trees with slow sandy entrance in the sea. Shallow warm water with pine forest in the back . The cost. Well, it may sound expensive for 2 sunbeds and umbrella....50 euros is minimum you have to spend for the first two rows and 40 euros for shades. However that is your consumation Whatever you choose to drink or eat We had fresh fish every day which was beautifully prepared...in the rang of a top class restoraunt So you have prime location..great food and sunbeds of your choice for a whole day . And trust me its worth staying for the sunset.... Staff is well organized and very friendly. Keep in mind that you do need to reserve your sunbeds due to a popularity of this place. Some will say its too busy or perhaps too loud music.. Well .you cant be on the one of the best beaches and expect it not to be busy . As for the music..it gives a great vibe to the whole place... Ideal place to chill out. Highly reccomend to families. Our 3 year old loved the food and the sea so much....

I came here to visit this so popular beach and to find out why people like it. The first impression is that you arrived in the kitchen / back side. 😀🙄 Luckily, a lady from there said hi and showed us the way. Second impression - the wooden interior terrace - very beautiful, the tables are eye catching, the waterfall, the color palette is nice and uniform. And then, lastly - we arrived to the sunbeds area which is definitely more crowded we can imagine. The wooden sunbeds are beautiful, the view (for the first rows) is beautiful, but the sunbeds are so close next to each other (20 cm each side maximum), both front/back and left/right, so we can't imagine we can feel comfortable with no intimacy on this beach. Especially when you have to pay 25€/person (minim consumption) and you will keep touching accidentally the arm/leg of your neighbour. Thanks God the island is full of different beaches for all tastes. 😂🤣 PS: I didn't notice that 70% area of the beach which is free zone (as per low), anywhere I looked, I sow only sunbed...
