Porto Butterfly — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

Terrible place! We went there for a dinner at 21:00 and two hours later, the only thing served was a starter, a salad and drinks. We asked for the bill since our night and our mood was “destroyed” by that time and the chef came out 15 minutes later to apologise for his lack of professionalism and insisted that we don’t have to pay for the staff that was already delivered to us although paying was not the issue there! Aside from that, a tomato-cucumber salad, a smocked mackerel, two retsinas (cheep Greek wine) and a coke costed us 28,50€ which is extremely high and generally the prices were the highest from all the taverns we went to throughout 15 days of holiday on the island. Unfortunately, the worst dining experience in Thassos till now. We waited more than an hour for a fish and a squid. We didn't get any menus, the food came after around 90 minutes, the squid was cold and the bread, that they initially forgot, was a week old. We paid without them cleaning the table, and that's the first place, that doesn't serve dessert. The tables around us waited even longer... We stayed around two hours, one family got in that time only a salad. I can imagine, comparing with the other reviews, that the staff has changed. No positive...

Worst service in Thassos. We waited half an hour to bring the menu. We ordered a cappuccino , coke and beer. They mixed the order. The cappucino had no sugar or spoon. For food we got fresh fish and grilled octopus.They brought the food without any forks or knives, after an hour. Fish was ok,but got cold. The octopus was a children's portion. No side dish.
