UPDATE JUNE 2025
Arriba Beach remains a very popular choice, especially for families with young children, thanks to its relaxed vibe and well-thought-out facilities. Parking is free, which is a big plus during the busy summer season. Sunbeds cost €3, but this amount is deducted from your bar tab, making it a fair deal if you're planning to enjoy a drink or snack.
Service is fast and friendly, even when the beach gets crowded. The entire beach is covered in natural shade from pine trees, which is great for staying cool, but the sand is mixed with pine needles and spikes, so it's not the softest — beach shoes are a good idea.
In the water, there are lots of rocks, so water shoes are a must for comfortable swimming. This isn’t a sandy-sea-entry type of beach, but it makes up for it with charm and extras.
There are hammocks for relaxing, and even bird cages with canaries and parrots, which kids will absolutely love. It’s a very family-friendly setup with plenty to keep little ones entertained.
Prices are reasonable:
Frappe – €4
Frappe with ice cream – €5
Still water (0.5L) – €0.50
Aperol Spritz – €9
The only downside is how crowded it gets — sunbeds are packed very close together, so don’t expect too much personal space during peak hours. Still, if you're looking for a shaded, lively, and family-oriented beach with good service and fair prices, Arriba Beach is a...
Read moreEvery person has their own idea of a perfect beach, even though perfection does not exist. This came pretty close for me. If you love SHADE, hate doing the stupid dance of moving chairs around the umbrella all day, if you like having chill music and nice cool drinks served on the beach, this place is for you. Prices are decent, nobody will rob you: 6 eur /set - 2 chairs & umbrella. Happy hour for different drinks all day starting 9 AM.
They have a shower, there is a bathroom. You can park right next to the beach, for free, in a shady area under the trees. The sea is calm in the area, the water is shallow. There is an area for setting up your own umbrella as well, if that's what you want, although there isn't a lot of natural shade there. What i didn't like: the bar doesn't seem to value cleanliness, I wouldn't eat anything there. Some rocks around, at the water entrance, so water shoes recommended. Don't order food during the day, wasps are everywhere. can't think of anything else. Overall would recommend and...
Read moreReview for middle of July 2023:
During a hot day, this location was perfect for a whole day stay. The pine threes offer a shaded screen, you almost can o feel the hot sun. I'm writing this review at 13:00 local time outside temperature is 31C, real feel 34C. On my Sunbed, in shade it feels like 25C or less.
Good music, not loud. Cheerful waitresses, 3€ minimum spend to use a sunbeds. Prices are quire ok, hourly cocktails with special prices. You may find parking spots directly under the olive trees.
There are free hammocks tied to some trees, water is calm, entrance is sandy, not steep and there is a pontoon where kids like to jump into the water. There the depth is less than 1 meter. Good spot for snorkeling, I also recommend to have water shoes. There are some round rocks, covered in moss, slippery and rarely some sea urchins, black with spikes.
Kids like to swim or stay in the warm water. Would definitely...
