Sea Breeze Restaurant — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

We entered the restaurant as a group of 6 kids and 6 adults, both at separate tables. After we sat, the menus came fast, we decided what we wanted to eat, then a lady came and took our order after 20 minutes. She placed our order and the drinks came pretty quick, same as the food. I ordered Carbonara pasta, they literally had no taste. After I salted them, all I tasted was salt. My little sister wanted a kids menu hamburger, the burger was probably the smallest burger I’ve ever seen. It came with fries, which where five fries, I mean yes, it is a kids menu meal, but at least you could name it babies menu :/. She took our food away after another 20 minutes, and then we asked for two lava cakes. The lady said it will take a while so I said okay, how bad could it be? Well, after one hour she came here again to confirm that we have 2 kadaif and 2 lava cakes, she came after 3 minutes with the spoon and asked us again if we had lava cakes. We were worried of how incapable could this greeks be (this is not the single place where we observed this) and she came 5 minutes back with the kadaifs and 10 minutes later with the lava cakes. They were delicious tho, so this is why I am adding an extra star for food. But I am more than shocked how can service be in these restaurants/tavernas. On our first day to Greece we came to this restaurant based on the Tripadvisor reviews - not only that we weren’t disappointed, our expectation were ocer-reached. We returned to this restaurant every day! (We are picky eaters so we have to really like a place to return). We ate the following from the menu: village omlette, greek breakfast (breakfast is served until 11, omlettes until a little later), linguini with muscles, garlic bread, sea food plateu, paella with sea food - they were all delicious! (Heads up: the portions are huge) (The sea food plateu suits 2 person, the two of us couldn’t eat it all.) The staff is very nice - they make you feel like home. They great you friendly & warmly and are nice and helpfull with everyone (they even spoke a little romanian with us). The owner is really nice and goes above & beyond to make everyone feel excellent. They also have sun beds on the beach where you can stay - you do not have to pay for the sun beds, just order from them. I would definetly recommend the beach here also - the water is clear, you go a long way and is shallow and the beach is sandy (only one small portion in the water is with rocks). Rude personnel, starting from the waiter to the restaurant owner. Wanted to take our lunch there and choosed a seaview table, because there was no one to guide us and no reservation information on that table. The owner started to scream in a very rude way: "at the bar"! and the waiter came in a hurry with the same attitude, explaining us that you cannot sit anywhere you want, you have to go at the bar first, to ask for an available table. But there were a lot of free table and most of them without any reservation information. And when we asked why that table had no reservation sign on it, we were ignored. We decided it is to much, when the waiter throwed the menus on the table. We felt unwelcomed and their impolite attitude speaks a lot about who they are. Maybe the food is good, as recommended by some close friends, but we will never really know since we won't ever go there!! Never!
