From the moment we walked in, the warmth of the welcome set the tone for a memorable dining experience at Grumpy's. The staff greeted us with genuine enthusiasm, which instantly made us feel at home. A lovely touch was being shown the fresh selection of meats, fish, sides, and deli items, giving us a real sense of quality and care that goes into their offerings. We decided to try the village sausage with local toasted bread, the beef carpaccio, and the beef cheek. Each dish was bursting with flavour, truly sensational! The village sausage had a perfect balance of seasoning, the beef carpaccio was delicately prepared, and the beef cheek was incredibly tender, falling apart with each bite. We're already looking forward to our next visit, though we're a little disappointed they’re closed tomorrow (Sunday) but that's just another reason to return soon! We are too old to enjoy the livelier a younger part of the strip in Laganas, so this place is fantastic.It’s at the top end of the strip near Agrilia. Recommended by another holiday couple and we are recommending it to others also. The food and atmosphere combined is very good due to an amazing chef and service and excellent produce . We have recently returned from Zante. It was season end so a lot had already closed but we decided the first night to try Grumpys as it was a short walk from our hotel " Oscar". It was wonderful and we returned most evenings after. A wide choice of meats, and amazing salads and we could pick and choose what we wanted of traditional Greek food, and we tried several foods new to us too. Prices very reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful with explaining items and suggestions and the guy in the kitchen who we believe was Grumpy was a great cook. It really made our great holiday into wonderful. ...
