Hands down the BEST pizza on the whole island and probably one of the very best we’ve ever had!!! We come from Boston, MA, USA which has a rich Italian food presence. Still, Destaro’s special pizza blows them all away with its fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and made with love melted cheese. On top of it, they make amazing mojitos with the freshest mint and cut limes :) And get this: a large pizza and mojito cost only $18 Euros!! $12 for the pizza and $6.50 for the drink. We were recommended this little gem of a place by good friends and it didn’t disappoint. A family run cafe/ restaurant, lovely people and excellent food, all home cooked by the son of the family, I had the souvlaki chicken and pork, which was very tasty, meat cooked to perfection and best Chips I’ve had in a long time, not frozen, all made fresh. my husband and son in law had pizza which again was the best I have had anywhere, (yes I did try some), and my daughter had a chicken dish with mushrooms which she thoroughly enjoyed.
