Orea Superior Rooms — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

Orea is our paradise and home away from home. ||In July 2021 we were searching for a room to stay just a little bit longer on Zante. I wanted a little bit of luxury to round out our fantastic trip. Up popped Orea with photos of the sparkling pool, a lawn peppered with olive trees, lemon & lime trees, plums and tall banana trees, and finally the white washed rooms & HUGE bathroom. I booked it and it turns out we were the very first people to stay in a room! We instantly fell in love with the property but more importantly we fell in love with the Orea family: Gerry, Raina, and their little son Dinos. ||Quiet, subdued, clean, spacious, peaceful, and well located between Ammoudi and Tslivi, with the sea within walking distance (about 10 mins). But my highest accolades are for the outrageously amazing shower. Seriously. You’ll thank me for mentioning it! It’s the size of a double closet with high pressured water that never runs cold. Some days I come up with excuses just to get dirty enough to take another shower-HA HA 🤣 Between the shower and the very comfortable bed, there is little to complain about :) ||Orea Superior Rooms is worth every penny to stay. The entire place is very nice. There are only 3 rooms, but a big swimming pool (usually not used by anyone) and a beautiful green garden. The room is clean, nicely decorated, it has soft bed and pillows, new furniture, AC. The bathroom is big, modern, with all you need, even beach towels. The hosts are wonderful people, very nice and useful and met all our expectations: always very responsive, helped us with questions and recommendations. Everything you need is nearby: restaurants, supermarket (opened between 08:00-23:00), ATM, gas station, bakery, even a small beach at 10 mins walking, near Vardiola restaurant, which offers delicious Greek food.

If you want to walk to the beach or stay at the location during the vacation, this place is perfect. But if you want to visit the island, you need a car. There is a parking lot in the back of the building.

Quiet and peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle of touristy and crowded likes of the neighboring villages and cities. The room was very comfortable, overlooking a beautiful garden, and with access to a well maintained swimming pool. All necessary facilities are next door, which together with Kipseli's central location make it a perfect base to explore the entire island.
