There are 3 sets of sunbeds on the beach...the 1st day we chose the ones with umbrellas turns out they belong to this restaurant who came down eventually and rudly demanded the 15€ even though we were willing and prepared to pay, took the money and then we never saw them again. There were groups of people who turned up throughout the time of us being there who sat on the beach in the shade of the umbrellas without having anything said to them. The following day we decided to return to the beach and not go for sunbeds but instead just sit on the waters edge and use some of the shad from an umbrella. A woman marched upto us after a couple of hours and again very rudly demanded 15€, when I pointed out that we weren't using the sunbeds she very quickly became aggressive and shouted at us that this was her shade and if we were using it we owed her money... Nether the less we moved, as she almost chased us off her patch of beach, and settled down on the "free" piece of beach. We were there for approximately 6 hours more that day and people were using her non free sunbeds and shade all day and she didn't come and shout at any of them... So if any of the other reviews of the restaurant are anything to go by...RUDE is the best way to describe any dealings with...
Read moreI will tell my experience. This beach, which is PUBLIC, has hammocks and umbrellas. We were sitting quietly on the shore (without paying for an umbrella, since it is not mandatory), and some Italian women arrived, speaking Italian that they will think we did not understand, speaking ill of us. The woman arrived and threw us saying that they had paid and we hadn't…. and we were separated from the Italians and without bothering them. Well, everything is bad. Bad service, bad everything!!!!! They are incompetent and bad people. You can't throw anyone out because people pay for the umbrella and the hammock, not for being on the shores of the beach, and if they want that, then more sunbeds and umbrellas on the shores or private beach. In short, this beach is not worth so much, much less its...
