Saúl Bistro Lux — Restaurant in Guatemala City

Very trendy cafe/restaurant. Extensive and gourmet menu. Huge selection of beverages alcoholic, teas, smoothies, juices, etc. You will not go wrong there. Saul toasts and entrees. Crepes, pizzas, pastas,salads,soups and meat are on the menu. But they are not average. Elevated with a gourmet twist. Ohh sweet end. A just wow dessert menu. Pannacotta rolls, crepes, and some more. But... The order arrived. Almond Chicken and Cheese lasagna. Ohh deception arrived with it. Almond chicken was greasy, salad overly dressed and potatoes well they were ok. I do not recommend it at all. Lasagna was ok. But too small, order an entree or something else like a salad along with it. Dessert... Pannacotta rolls. It was ok. Kind of liked it. Very clean and nice place to have a cup of coffee while visiting the city centre. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. One detail that caught my attention is a plaque next to the entrance stating that everybody is welcome without any discrimination and that you don't have to order anything in order to have a seat. In my opinion, this is a very positive and important message, especially in a country like Guatemala with such a high level of income inequality.
