A bit like like an upscale Panera, San Martin restaurants are found just about everwhere and deliver great quality drinks and food and are much more American than most places in Guatemala. This location has a retail area selling coffee and baked goods as well as fancy drinking bottles. Located in El Centro Historico (the historic downtown area), the interior features a great example of deconstructivist style.

I had a pleasing coffee experience here. The service is quick and attentive. Prices aren’t too high (Americano Q10, Cappuccino Q12 including a biscuit) for such a central and well designed location. You can find other branches around mayor cities all over Guatemala. They also sell baked goods and Coffee to go.

The place is really nice in the corner of a busy street (la sexta). The food is very homemade style I really like it every time. I would recommend the Santa Fe Salad. The decoration is nice and the staff is friendly. It gets 4 stars because they took long time so serve our food.

I like visiting those restaurants, but this time the waitress for some reason did not serve me the extra dressing for my Salad which of course was nice. Additionally, we bought a pie to go and no spoon was included we called the other waitress and left running. 1😔
