Wok&Tok — Restaurant in Guatemala City

To start, very nice guys were cooking at this small shop the day I went, which I appreciate. And the serving size was great. Also, they have a gluten free spaghetti noodle option in addition to the rice noodle options. Awesome!

That said, my friend liked the pad Thai there but I wasn’t wild about it. Maybe my perspective was different from living in south east for years, but to me the flavors weren’t balanced. Maybe too much tamarind sauce? Not sure. However, I’m willing to go back and try another dish in the future.

Just know that it’s mainly a take-away joint. I wanted to eat there so I huddled under the eave on a stool, which is fine if you’re on your own or grabbing an informal bite with a friend, but don’t expect indoor...

La comida superó mis expectativas. Tienen dos presentaciones: normal y grande. La normal es más que suficiente para quedar satisfecho. Puedes escoger entre platillos con o sin fideos y hasta tienen una presentación vegetariana! El centro comercial puede ser un poco difícil de acceder según el horario y lo único que me pareció inconveniente fue el espacio que tienen para comer allí, es muy reducido (aprox 5 lugares) razón por la cual muchas personas lo piden para llevar.
