We have been going here for breakfast and occasionally lunch for a few years. The restaurant is pleasant enough with plenty of seats and tables with ample room plus thanks to the main areas windows gives plenty of light. The major issue with this place is the minimum the morning staff, they are painfully under trained and have no real idea of how to wait tables efficiently and effectually. They always bring out the toast way to early, which I feel like they always due to hide the long time it takes the kitchen to cook your food, commonly either way your going to have cold toast. Its not just the kitchen that take forever your drinks will also take time. I have seen this a number of times from different staff and often when there are not many customers at all. The saving grace of this place is the food. It is cooked competently, except the scrambled eggs on occasion, and is presented neatly. There is three sizes of cooked breakfasts so however hungry you are you will be filled plus plenty of other options. The sausages are of decent quality, bacon is not the highest quality but is always crispy, mushrooms they do cheat you by only considering half a flat mushroom as one portion of mushroom. The good part is that its not greasy and clean meal. Lunches and food in general have always been tasty with a wide variety of choice with well priced menus. To conclude if you want a nice breakfast and have plenty of time go here but if you are pushed for time phone them up before hand and pre order. You wont be disappointed if you are prepared.

Not a bad place to eat. For my main course i had calfs liver and bacon with mashed potato and gravy which was quite tasty and was hot although I would of liked a bit more liver. For my sweet i had lemon cheesecake which was delicious i really enjoyed that plus I had a banana thick shake which was really nice. On the whole i would go again and i would recommend to others.

Sunday roast. Lamb was delicious however the vegetables were put together & the Yorkshire pudding was cold.

The hotel side of the manor is being operated by liars, I am currently homeless and have been chasing this place for a room....I was just speaking on the phone to DAVID at the manor hotel who had told me originally to call him back to discuss the room with him because in his words "I'm not in the office at the moment" after calling back that story changed and he was now not available to to discuss the rooms only somebody else was able to do so, so I called again on Thursday 18th of September to get a room sorted and was told David "the person you need to speak to is not here until tomorrow so call back tomorrow, this was of course very frustrating however I called back today Friday 18th September...this time David answered the call and told me "is this Richard again" when I said yes he replied "oh the person you need isn't here until Monday". I actually challenged the lie as It only yesterday I was to call back tomorrow...upon challenging he attempted to manipulate me by claiming "I was sat with other staff and they know what he said" which made no difference because I already know he is lying, he then decided to Tel me to that because of my attitude I'm not welcome at the manor, strangely my attitude depends on who you are towartme, I have spent 2 decades being emotionally conditioned and I'm now very familiar with the...

I am writing extremely upset with the service from The Manor. Food I always late and sometimes gets here cold. Today I ordered food at 3::48 because it says on the site they open from 430 pm. I only got confirmation at 1644 to say my order will 1hr20 minutes. I rang the Manor at 1820 to ask where my order was and they told me it had just left the kitchen and will be with me shortly. It never arrived. I rang again at 1850 only to be told by a confused person telling me the order has left but he is not sure which driver it is. He was going to call me back he didn’t and hasn’t. I have just now received the order at 1905. The driver has just informed me he has just been given the order. However the food is cold and some it is soggy.Very poor service. Will not be ordering...
