Copenhagen Bar and Grill — Restaurant in St Peter Port

Went for my Mum's birthday meal at the Copenhagen - we sat in the outdoor area which was comfortable, heated, and had an excellent view out over the harbour.

My partner and I are both vegan, and many restaurants often do a vegan menu that is an afterthought - not the case here! It was clear that thought about effort had gone into the dishes, they were delicious, well presented, and far from the standard vegan fare on the island.

Service was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was great....

Both my husband and I ordered steak. Both steaks were extremely bitter and inedible and without doubt the worst steaks we have ever had. Also visited Copenhagen a couple of weeks before and ordered the Chateaubriand which was equally as bad. Really disappointed with the response from the restaurant manager who was very hostile and argued with us! Such a shame as we like the restaurant and gave them a chance to redeem themselves following the Chateaubriand, we...

A lovely Easter lunch with family. The ambience as usual was really good - although the dining room was full it just felt comfy. We all had different items but obviously I went for the roast beef. It was really lovely and came with loads of gravy which is my favourite! I had chocolate lava cake with fudgy topping - yum! Good value for money we felt and everyone enjoyed themselves.
