There is a lot to see here! The museum is built in the actual underground bunker type tunnels. It is air conditioned and well lit. It is the best collection if memorabilia that I have ever seen in person. Most items are specific to the islands, but many items are easily recognizable. I did not share all pictures that I took. I hope people will go and see the items and collections for themselves. The pictures do not do them justice. While the lighting is fine in person, the pictures do not necessarily show how well maintained the items are.

We went to this museum as part of a shore excursion from our cruise the excursion also took us to bunkers around the island. The guide was knowledgeable about the island and occupation history facts. This is worth the visit. They also have authentic items for sale as well as souvenir type items...

An interesting museum. A large shed divided into rooms, each has a theme. Some are weapons, some are community,, some are other war equipment. There is a cafe and then a street which has many vehicles and models from the occupation. Numerous accounts and letters, comments and photos of the period bring the people to life. The exhibits range from items made by the slave labour, through resistance items, homemade generators and radios and onto German weapons, artillery and bombs. A very cheap entry, nice staff and took us about an hour and half to go round. We didn't use the cafe but it seemed really good. Not a lot of interaction, two video booths but could do with a...

It's been a while since I actually went in there but was very impressed at the time. It is set into World War 2 tunnels (the Germans occupied us in case you don't know...nothing to do with the Germans now, very cool people. I didn't know if it was really true to say that Nazis occupied us as luckily there were ordinary German soldiers but I suppose that the Nazis were -unfortunately- in control) But you will probably get the full -horrific- story in there. I remember there were also vehicles, uniforms, weapons and equipment from the war. I keep meaning to go back there. But from what I remember, well...

A very intense museum located in an original bunkersystem of the german nazi forces with lots of detailed pieces of exhibition, such as Nazi flags, Wehrmacht signs and patches, guns and rifles, Motorbikes, many many pictures of the occupation time. Very impressive the lots of documents, such as diaries, personal letters, official notice of executions, personal fates and many more. Some section of the exhibition is about worldwar one. Overall a true piece of memories, which I believe in this time is even more important to visit.

Small but packed full of stuff. Very sad to see what the islanders went through during WWII. Bonus was that I got to meet the lovely Molly Bihet, bought her book which she signed and she gave me a hug as I went off to get money to buy the book and came back to see her! So sweet, and a real highlight of the trip
