The most terrible breakfast experience in three years. In 2017 I was blown away by the quality and the flavors of the food at this place. Today we spent $140 for five people for breakfast and all of us left 70 to 80% of our food on the table. The ingredients were right out of the can and some of the items tasted like prison food.

The side of biscuits and gravy would be perfectly at home in prison. The omelettes were one out of five star and the Portabella burger was inedible and their based potatoes were raw.

The signature item : hashed potatoes Used to be crispy and delicious , probably cooked with olive oil or butter in the past Now it is spicy , they have added chorizo spices and red chillies , everything has a mexican twist to it , which wouldn’t be bad if it was fully cooked or in moderation

And they are using the cheapest oil available now , the entire quality of food is worse than McDonald’s , I mean honestly McDonald’s breakfast would have been more satisfying at a quarter of the cost For 5 ppl

Seems like there is new ownership , service is 3/5 stars , they got the order right There was a huge pause between water service but that could be due to father day

But there is no excuse for half cooked potatoes , too much spice and pathetic...

After coming here a dozen times for mouth watering meals, this morning started out as a 1 star meal. I ordered the Strawberry waffle ($11) & was presented a Belgian waffle with the equivalent of 2, maybe 3 sliced strawberries and whip cream. My daughter had the S'mores French Toast smothered with marshmallow fluff & chocolate sauce sprinkled with Graham cracker crumbs (5 from her) & hubby had protein scramble (4 from him). 3/4 of the way through, I finally got the waiters attention for more strawberries (not his fault - I decided to say something after he'd already been to the table with coffee at least twice) & he brought me a generous monkey bowl of sliced strawberries like it should have been from the start. Staff was very attentive and friendly, restaurant is clean and comfy. Would have been a 5 rating if only the waffle had generous amount of strawberries to begin with. I mean come on, we're in California and while it's the end of season, there are still plenty at...

Found Cockroach in Men's Restroom. Showed a waiter and later the waitress the pics, and got a blasé response (as if I complained of a dirty glass). My wife and I came a week ago, 5/3/15, and loved it. Got here on Mothers Day and was waiting in the parking lot at 6:50am, waited 10 minutes until they opened (there was already 3 other cars on my side of the building, with someone waiting for the other door to open as well). My daughter and I got seated right away and I immediately went to the men's immaculate and attractively designed restroom, the light came on, and behold a cockroach. Must've been a geriatric, since I was able to take 3 pics with my phone and step on it with ease. I spent $39 for 3 Irish Hash breakfasts to go (1 less than if I still had my appetite). Needless to say, I didn't tell my wife and mother-in-law. I just find the helps' response odd. The first waiter went to tell the manager, but no further hint of...

A Sunday brunch well-spent brings a week of content ✨! Hash House is such a perfect place to celebrate or to spend quality time with your friends and family. The portion was huge; and most dishes came with their delicious Hash House Potatoes. First time trying this breakfast spot and I will definitely be returning. The restaurant itself is simple. They have both outdoor and indoor dining options, this time we opted for outdoor as we had brought our dog. Our waitress was super friendly and sweet, I would say great service. The street is very noisy and busy so if you do sit outside, I would recommend sitting on the side, not directly in front of the restaurant. This place is known for their different types of hashes so I tried the supreme hash. It was great, really great flavors. It came with a biscuit and which was lackluster, nothing amazing, I will probably sub toast next time. The portions are huge and I only ate half. I would like to try something new next time and see if other breakfast items are just as good. I will be returning but not in a hurry.

An extremely popular brunch restaurant, busy, and extremely noisy (we literally had to yell at each other)! That was the first impression. Waited 30 min on a Saturday morning around 10:30. The booth seats were very tight, not comfortable. The service was very good though, our waitress always smiled and was polite. The 4 egg omelette was "solid", over cooked, though it tasted okay, I prefer mine soft and tender. The hash browns were soft inside, which was good, but not crispy enough outside. The waffles also was soft outside, but not crispy inside. The Mexican hash was pretty good, kind of too salty though. Prices were a bit on the high side, but they gave a good volume of food, so okay CP! Overall, the food was average, but the noise level was way too much for us to enjoy our food!

Stopped to get breakfast here on our second day from visiting from Texas. The breakfast was phenomenal, just what we needed to start the day. We sat outside as the weather was extremely nice. Was not too busy when we went around 9:30am. The food was very tasteful and the portions where very big so consider sharing plates if you’re not too hungry or looking over your calories. We ended up leaving a lot of food behind and would have loved to take it home but since we’re driving all day we didn’t want the food to spoil in the car. My favorite dish by far where the chocolate chip pancakes. Probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The orange juice tasted good and the coffee was also freshly made. This is a nice little spot for brunch in a decent area of town that was quiet while we ate.

I have a mixed review here, we have seen this pace on multiple occasions and decided to try it out. The service was great and we were seated immediately and taken care of. We ordered coffee and when we took a drink, it was pretty terrible, almost tasted like a mix of gasoline and coffee grounds ( the waitress said it was peerless coffee ) I changed my drink to orange juice that was $7.50, but thatbis because its fresh squeezed (delicious) and that was where the terrible ended. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs (amazing!) and my wife ordered the breakfast sandwich (amazing also) If I had to judge this place by coffee alone, it would get a negative 1. But to be fair, everything else was great. Will we come back again, I would say yes.

Excellent crab cake benedict. Flavorful patties topped with perfectly poached eggs. Very happy they don't use corn in their batter. I love eggs benedict. But sometimes when I'm super hungry, I might not order it just in case it doesn't fill me up. These crab cakes, though, are pretty filling. But for some reason that's still not enough, their large side of potatoe should do the trick. The menu is vegetarian friendly. I found it interesting that they have tofu eggs benedict. We ordered it and it turned out to not have much flavor. Would be great if they season the tofu. Since wait times can be long, try to come early if you can. We came a little past 9am on a Saturday and had to park across the street and wait about 20 minutes.
