Sushi Zono — Restaurant in Campbell

This is ridiculous! I’ve ordered many times in this restaurant with proof from Grubhub. Last time the staff made a mistake by giving me a wrong item. I contacted grubhub for refund request, and today I placed the same order and I call them to confirm it (because there were two times, the staff didn’t even check grubhub orders, causing me to wait for a long time, so i had to call them to confirm my order).

Then they said I should have contacted them for refund and shown them proof instead of contacting Grubhub support. WTH??? How come as a costumer knows who to contact first? Also you have no right to ask me which contact option I should use. I told them not to make my food and I won’t visit anymore. I was planning to bring a group of friends there for dinner, but now we will give other nicer restaurants this chance!

You didn’t even apologize for your mistake! You suspect me as a liar! You said because of my refund request, the restaurant needs to accept the loss but it’s your fault, not me!! One time I ordered from Grubhub, you lied to me that the order hasn’t arrived but it turned out you forgot to check the order status. You didn’t even check!! You didn’t learn the mistake and make the same mistake again because another time luckily I called and you finally open the app to accept the order!

Great second Gen Family owned restaurant. The fish is fresh daily. The rolls,sushi,grilled,and shasimi are generous portions and so delicious. Even made to your taste on request. The staff here are knowledgeable and friendly and prompt. The sake is high quality and plentiful and varied. Something for every taste. The seating here is plentiful as well,unless of course you want to sit at the counter with Chef Able, better arrive early. Otherwise there is plenty of regular seating and zaziki Japanese seating as well. But don't take my word for it,come check this place out, you will be happy that you did. This would be more appropriate as a 4.5 star rating, but I love the food so much I'm erring high. Sushi Zono is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the South Bay, competing with the likes of Yuki Sushi in Willow Glen and Sushi Okawa in Blossom Valley. The quality of the fish here is excellent, and chefs Haru and Eibo always have a fantastic selection of dishes, rolls, and specials to keep us on our toes. Can't miss dishes include the Tuna Tataki and Spicy Ika Fry appetizers, the Raging Tuna roll (love that Ponzu Sauce!), and my personal favorite the Hong Roll - extra spicy, of course.
