Villa Pisky — Restaurant in Balatonfüredi járás

I didn’t get the chance to eat there, since I wasn’t around during opening hours – but I have to write this publicly: I absolutely love the staff! Before they even officially started work, they kindly saved me with two coffees. And let me tell you, the coffee was not only delicious, but the service was so thoughtful and attentive that I’m still touched by how carefully they made sure it was sweet enough for me.

So, while I can’t comment on the food (yet!), I can confidently say that if the kitchen is anything like the people working there, then you’re in for a treat. Honestly, if they cared this much about my caffeine survival, I can only imagine what they’d do with a steak or a dessert. Great. This place is part of a series of restaurants in Tihany, all belonging to the same group (or owner) — the food is great at each of them, and all of them come with that amazing view over Lake Balaton. We’ve had the pasta and risotto here, each of them an excellent choice. All of the dishes feature ingredients sourced locally .. and one can really taste the difference. The tomato sauce in the tagliatelle had a rich, flavourful taste of sun-ripe tomatoes as you’d know it from Sicily. We had a lovely lunch at Villa Pisky—the booking process was quick and smooth, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet refined.

The food was very tasty, and the dessert was a great finish to the meal. What really made the experience stand out was both the view onto Lake Balaton and the service.

Our waiter, Bence, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He recommended a Hungarian wine that turned out to be one of the best we've ever tried.

He took the time to explain where it came from and shared interesting details about the wine. It really added a special touch to our lunch.
