An Unforgettable Culinary Experience at Spicy Fish Restaurant!** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Spicy Fish, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for an incredible meal. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The menu is a delightful journey through Chinese and Asian cuisine, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to every palate. We started with the Spicy Fish signature dish, and it was absolutely phenomenal – the perfect balance of heat and flavor. Every bite was an explosion of taste, showcasing the chef’s mastery in blending spices and fresh ingredients. The dumplings and spring rolls were equally impressive, bursting with savory goodness. We also tried the Sichuan hot pot, which was both comforting and exciting, filled with an array of fresh vegetables, meats, and noodles. The broth was rich and aromatic, a true testament to authentic Asian cooking. One of the highlights of our meal was the exceptional presentation. Each dish was beautifully plated, reflecting the care and creativity that went into its preparation. The portions were generous, ensuring we left completely satisfied. Overall, Spicy Fish offers the best Chinese and Asian food experience in town. Whether you’re a fan of spicy dishes or prefer something milder, there’s something for everyone. Unfortunately I am forced to change my previous review. The food remains top class but the service, to be more precise, the hungarian waiter, was atrocious. Behaving really nice throughout the whole evening, in the end typing and giving us the bill which was on Chinese language only and which exceeded the amount we were supposed to pay by 7.000HUF. We noticed the discrepancy between the amount we felt our bill should be and the actual amount that we were charged. We then called the waiter and asked what that all is about and if he could explain an article on the bill for which we were sure we did not have. After a short discussion and our insisting, he sat down with to go through what we had and came to the calculation that, indeed, we were overcharged by 7.000HUF. He then said he will give us 7.000HUF back, which he did, and left without a word or any kind of apology. Disgraceful and pathetic. To make it even worse we saw that there were multiple comments on google review which describe the exact same situations people had when it comes to this place. That makes me believe that this is an organized operation of theft which probably, in many occasions passes by as people do not pay enough attention what they are paying for in the end. Again, really sad, considering food quality but we, most definitely, will never set foots in this restaurant. Shame on you.

A friend from China rated this one as the best Chinese restaurant outside China! What more information do you need? Allright, here you go: this one is not a tourist trap. It's in the outskirts of the city, in Chinatown. The staff is friendly and the menu includes a lot of truly authentic options. The meals have spiciness ratings, too. I recommend the fish on the photo :) Not wheelchair accessible, but good inside if you have someone to carry you up the 10 initial stairs at the entrance.

Etalon hely született kínai téren. Csájnataun szívében egyike a kevés nem kifőzde jellegű, autentikus és elegánsnak mondható étteremnek. Hangulatos belső kialakítás, rendkívül szellős asztalok és boxok. Két további érdekesség az angolul is alig beszélő, de lelkes félamatőr személyzet és a valaha látott legvastagabb, könyv terjedelmű, képes étlap személyében, ami, ha nem lenne elég, még külön menübe(!) is foglalták a sült és gőzölt táskákat, valamint dim sumokat tartalmazó fogásokat. A fő tesztalany, a csípős savanyú leves olyan szinten mozgott, ezáltal olyan magasra tette a lécet, mint korábban még soha egyik sem. Fantasztikus harmónia, gazdag ízvilág megkoronázva egy mennyei diszkrét füstösséggel, ami eddig sehol máshol nem volt érezhető. Külön pozitívum, hogy eme isteni nedüből közepes adag címszó alatt egy teljes tállal hoztak, amiből több mint négy tányér 'kijött'. Már csak ezért is megérte ide elzarándokolni és a többi még hátravolt. Csirke és marhahúsos bao, pazar ananászos marhacsíkok és szaftos yu xiang marha szeletek mint főételek és a desszert sem a szokásos lichi/karamelizált banán páros, hanem valami mennyei cukros és sima mantou kenyér sűrített tejbe tunkolandó. Árfekvése borzasztóan magas, de úgy van vele a jelen sorok írója, hogy kit érdekel, ha ilyen szenzációszámba menő élményben lehet részünk mindegyik fogás esetében. Verdikt: 5/5 és egy kövér 1. a kínai éttermek listáján.

Egy év elteltével másodjára adtunk esélyt a helynek, de sajnos most is csalódottan távoztunk. Egy 7 fős társasággal érkeztünk, viszonylag hamar leültettek egy nagyjából letörölt asztalhoz. Feltaláltuk magunkat, a QR kód segítségével választottunk az étlapról. Az ételek számát felírtuk magunknak jegyzetbe, hogy egyszerűbb legyen a rendelésleadás. Kb fél óra várakozás után mi szóltunk a pincérnek, hogy szeretnénk rendelni, aki meglepődött, hogy étlap nélkül mégis hogy..:) aztán közölte, hogy ha úgyis fel van írva nekünk, hogy mit kérünk, akkor ő már nem írja fel, csak lefotózza a jegyzetünket.. majd felháborodva hozzátette, hogy azért jó lett volna, ha mindenki rendelését egy telefonon összegyűjtük, hogy neki könnyebb legyen. Teljes volt a káosz, két tésztával többet kaptunk, egy rizzsel és egy főétellel kevesebbet, össze vissza érkeztek az ételek (a vacsora végén, mikor már mindenki megette, amit megtalált a rendeléséből, random kihoztak még két adag tésztát, amit nem is kértünk, de persze kifizettük..). A fizetésnél egy másik asztal számláját fizettették ki velünk, majd mikor kiderült a hiba, még kb nekik állt feljebb. A blokkon minden kínaiul volt írva, így a társaságban a tételek szétosztása meglehetősen nehézkes volt. Az italokon brutális árrés van, az ételek amúgy egész fogható áron vannak és finomak is, de ez a fejetlenség, és a stílus teljesen elrontja azt is, ami amúgy jó lehetne.

Walked all the way from Budapest Center to this restaurant 😂 Food was great. We ordered the Peking Duck, fried noodles, cucumber salad, spicy fried beans, orange shrimps and beef short ribs. Can recommend everything on the menu - food was excellent! Powerful flavors, not too salty or flooded with soy sauce. Service was excellent as well - food came quickly but fresh and servers were super attentive. Totally recommend going here when coming to Budapest!
