Trófea Grill Étterem Újbuda — Restaurant in Budapest

This place although is a self service buffet lunch/dinner has an amazing atmosphere with a great table service and skilled waiters/waitresses our waiter was Mr Attila very attentive cleaning and making sure our drinks are always full, the table is ready for any courses we desire to get, and upseling his extra drinks menu. We had a great time seeing birthday celebrated with a lovely cake, fireworks and music in any language.

The place itself is very modern full of life and great for a family dinner or any other reason you want to come here.

The only problem here is...... You need to make sure you are starving to be able to try all the things they have to offer. I truly appreciate the hard work of the chefs which made the best venison in red wine sauce I've ever had.

The downside would be the vegetables I'm not going to give less than 5 stars for one side dish but the baby carrots were undercooked.

Unlimited drinks and food what else a man would want 😂 get feed and drunk get home and sleep at a great price .

To mention something that no-one thinks is worth mentioning, the toilets are sparkling clean and so nice furnished and extra little details that amused me and I think they are funny.

Highly recommended !!! I'll definitely be back ! Whenever I'll come to Hungary again.

Massive disappointment! The story starts with the receiption staff. When I approached them with my request the first reaction was from their end is laughing on my request. Rude staff without any proper customer service qualification! Basically I had ordered a cheeseburger to my son what turned to be funny. This menu item is on their home delivery list therefore I took the courage to order one. It took 45 minutes to be prepared what I had to pay separately. When it arrived it was simply cold. We had to ask a waiter to warn it up in the kitchen. The waiters were polite and tried to ease the situation. The other quite disturbing experience was with the freshly grilled meat. The salmon ( not from the sushi bar) and the chicken came out from the kitchen RAW, UNCOOKED... simply not prepared properly. We came to this restaurant often in the past but I think this was our last visit to this place. Rude staff and raw food. Don't recommend this...

I had a reservation for lunch for us on Wednesday and the price was nearly 9,000 ft/person. We eat here every year, but I was very disappointed this time. There are very few dishes and the variety is not good. In the past, cherries were provided in the summer, but now there are only peaches, watermelons, oranges, kiwis and bananas. What's more terrible is that the peaches are all rotten. For the whole lunch time, we just drank orange juice, ice cream, 2 pieces of sushi, half a bowl of potato beef soup and some small cakes. I started having stomach aches on the way home, we both had uncontrollable diarrhoea, it was so bad, we spent 18000ft just to make ourselves sick?
