The food was very tasty. Ordered the Eggs royal, English breakfast, Guacamole toast and the Country breakfast. Serving at the tables would be a nice touch. Eggs royal: The hollandaise was well balanced and the poached egg was cooked perfectly. There was a decent portion of smoked salmon on both of the English muffins. English breakfast: the sourdough bread was very tasty. The sunny side eggs were well cooked. The beans were what is expected of English beans with a tomato/ketchup flavor to them. Nothing exceptional. Guacamole toast: Good portion of avocado was spread on a fresh piece of bread. It has a slightly citrus flavor that goes well with the dish. It’s a good portion. Country breakfast: The Gyulai sausage was tasty along with a bacon strip that was 99% fat and 100% full of flavor. The scrambled eggs could use less cooking and more constant mixing as they were slightly over cooked by a few seconds in the pan. The coffee has a distinct nutty taste and is served appropriately. We tried the ice cream multiple times, it was absolutely delicious. The signs say that this is an award winning ice cream, I have no doubts about that. If you want handemade ice cream, this is a must stop on your itinerary while visiting Gyula.

My husband tried the double burger, it was very good. We also ate pizza, which is delicious, but if you’re hungry, a burger is the better choice, since the pizza is not that big and the pizza bread is almost nonexistent,...
