Trattoria iL Divo — Restaurant in Szegedi járás

We visited this restaurant yesterday as a family for the first time and the grade would be much higher, but unfortunately since we were cheated on the bill we have to grade it low and say it to all to avoid it. The drinks/cocktail and the food we ordered was good(altough we do not recommend pizza),but since we ordered salmon we missed a small piece of lemon that always comes with the fish. We asked for it and didnt even get at least 1/3 of it but rather thin slice they usually give in your coke drink. We couldnt even grab it to squeeze it. That pathetic slice was charged 6 euros on our bill (a half of a price for one food portion!). When we confronted the waiter and asked about it, he felt uncomfortable and quickly avoided the further conversation. Too bad because they ruined the whole experience there by cheating. Thats not a way to go in order to grab a bit more money to themselves. A lot of guests from our country go there to eat, and definately we will not recommend this place to them so they dont get scammed and surprised by some hidden costs...

DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you decide to go, be ready to wait for 2h to get an appetizer and a main dish.

Also, the main dish does not come with garnish but they prefer not to tell you that you can actually choose the garnish but it is the "recommended". DO NOT CALL a plate "RISOTTO" if it has to be added to the price.

Apparently only foreigners are "upset" about it because calling a dish "risotto" does not necessarily means for them to not add an extra charge.

Now, for some of you who might be still in between, just to let you know, their is nothing extra about this restaurant except the pricing with their 12% service fees !!

The only "positive" thing I can say is about the location and the design. Aparat from that, be prepared to be on track. I do not put this post lightly but I want to make sure what anyone who decides to come, knows what they are up to.

I would have preferred to put my 100€ in the toilet, flush it out and it would have been still better spent than in...

The only good thing about this restaurant, in my opinion, are the pizzas. The food was quite late (pizza - about 40 minutes) and the waiter's answer was that they are not "fast food". In fact, the service and hygiene are at the "fast food" level. Our daughter cut her elbow on small pieces of glass, not cleaned from the coaster. I am attaching a photo of some of them. The staff greets you with a slight arrogance from the beginning, which escalates until the moment of payment - the bill actually includes about 13% service - regardless of whether you are satisfied... Delicious pizzas, seasoned with poor service... And in Italy they teach us to eat pizza with our hands (clean of course :) - the staff made fun...
