Heppa Restaurant — Restaurant in undefined

It was tiptop! We were there twice on different days: once on Saturday evening at around 18:00 and once on Monday at 14:15. Although the restaurant was quite full on Saturday evening, the waitress came to order quite quickly at the beginning, as did the food. We ordered loaded fries and burgers - both pretty good. However, the bread on the burger could definitely be improved. After we'd finished our meal, we got lost in the crowd and couldn't really order another coffee in time. It wasn't too bad though, as the hut was very full that day.

On Monday at 14:15, the restaurant was practically empty, so everything ran smoothly.

However, all the staff were very friendly and I would therefore recommend it to others. 👍🏽

The toilet was also very modern and clean - they even had hand rolled towels | very cool!

Now my tips for you;

Keep: Toilets with hand-rolled towels - extremely nice = definitely keep. You are all super friendly = keep it that way. ☺️

Change: If you can't keep up with the service then someone from the service team should do a quick check and put the dessert menu everywhere. You can always serve later - but no dessert without a menu. I understand that you don't want to keep the new guests waiting, but the existing guests may also have a request - so always keep an eye on everything :). Stopped here to get a bite to eat before driving the rest of our way. We had checked beforehand what we wanted to eat, so after waiting for a table (15mins) or so, we ordered right away: 4* the same loaded chips.

The wait was okay, but after a long while we started to be curious. First it was 30mins, then 45mins, then 1 hr. No one had checked up on us or told us about the wait or anything. We got up, asked ourselves and heard that it still will take 10-15mins. Over an hour for 4 dishes of loaded chips? We are sure that our order had not gone through before we asked for them, but no one told us or even apologized (at first).

The waiting took all of our time of eating, so we needed to take it away and eat in the car. The problem was that the restaurant didn't have cutlery to take away. We got quite unhappy and restless, the staff unfortunately didn't have the customer service skills that you would expect from a person working in a restaurant. After a while of standing in the lobby, waiting for the food, the manager/owner apologized for the situation and gave us a bottle of wine to go. He would've given a discount but we had already paid.

Anyways, a little silver lining but I would definitely be cautious when choosing this restaurant. Just ask questions (like the waiting time before hand).

I really enjoyed this stop. The reseturant was not busy on arrival, staff was friendly. Does have a nice restroom available.

The FOOD!!! The only "con" was that they were unable to offer the "bigger things" part of the menu today, though that did not sway us at all.

My spouse enjoyed the Blue Cheese Burger and fries (you purchase them separately) and said it was a really well done classic burger with mild blue cheese taste. He also enjoyed the fresh made pretzel (smaller things section on menu).

To start I am not vegan/vegetarian but enjoy the food from time to time for context. I had the "sticky tofu" (smaller things section on menu) with a vegan sour cream which was AMAZING!! Good texture on the tofu with a bold flavor. I also got the "crispy tofu roll" (main) and while I have no regrets and thoroughly enjoyed it, this can be a messy sandwich/roll to eat - so caution! But again the washrooms are nice so just wash up after.
